Just checked ebay for pre-sales, do you have any concern that there will be too many variants, or do you think all of them will be money makers? Is it going to take enough media buzz to get non Comic collectors in on investing in them?

Here is the ebay pre-sales link: amazing 700 | eBay

Way too many variants in my opinion. Crazy amounts of variants tend to confuse and drive new-to-the-hobby collectors away and leaving only speculators holding tons of variants.

Marvel is just looking to cash in here.

With that said...if you can find them at cover, go for it. That's the only way I can see you making a profit on these.

I'm already counting 9 Variants, and there should still be more retailer exclusives announced, probably bringing it up to about 15 by the time of release. The only way I really see this going crazy to the mainstream media with non Comic collectors coming in is if Peter Parker is killed, but it still won't be as big of news as Superman's death. I'm a little skeptical, and if there is money to be made, it's probably just a few dollars per issue and not worth the time for listing, shipping, etc. I'll pass, but wish good luck to all who are going for it.

not as big as supermans death ? i disagree. it would be bigger for sure. i dont think they will kill him . possibly a terrible injury . as far as making money on these issues ? im not sure. people will look at the guide and see that a certain variant is worth say ? 50.00 ? but that is usualy what was paid for it , maybe a bit less. these variants usualy hold most of there value but if your looking to make alot of profit ? forget it . maybe if you grade some fo them and get high grades you can make a decent profit, but then again your also dishing out money to get them graded.

just collect and enjoy the bopks. if your looking to make a killing in selling new books forget it . i cant beleive it when i see people buying 30 + copies of a batman issue that is heavily printed ......

I'll setup a grading thread for that title and will post prices to get in on pre-orders for it.
