Default Trading comics/ comic advice needed.

I am a fan of deadpool, but I'm not sure how dedicated I will continue to be. I have picked up a bunch of good/ comics most are late 80's -90's so none from the really great ages. I had originally wanted to go for complete runs, like ever deadpool vol 1 comic but it became kinda overwhelming.

So I wanted to get a few key issues of my old favorites. Now I need y'all's help to give me some ideas.

I would mainly be trading, graded does not interest me. If you have a pic that would be helpful because I like cool looking covers also. So if it is key with a cool cover awesome. Pics are just of the issues I should look for, like as a fan of ghost rider, is the western comics key or not?

I have

New mutants 98, that I would be trading along with a ton of other deadpool. Variant issues, walking dead, revival #1 first print' and many more.

The old favorites were

Ghost rider
Wolverine

The forum has been kinda slow this week, maybe you'll get some feedback over the weekend. We're not a huge group in here, but we are growing.

Not a who cares!! I think Indy is right on it... it's a pretty slow week on the boards here... maybe with the ensuing holiday next week! Everyone's getting ready for Turkey and Football!! I would trade but I really doubt I have anything worth while in my collection... I had to totally start over again from scrap. After I moved out my mom sold most of my old collection in garage sales and trashed the rest... I had one small stack of early 90's books left that are crap really. I had alot of Bronze and 80's books... I had a couple newsstand edition 1st appearance Venoms that I literally cried when I found out she sold those!!!

What is your thoughts on key ghost rider issues. Do I go after the spotlight #5, or does the western ghost rider from marvel count. What about the ones back before marvel?

I work and just got home. I have been hanging comics all day and shelving a few hundred Mini and Full size Collegiate helmets.

Perhaps you may need to factor that in as most people here in this area, aren;t kids, like the other sports cards areas

Now
If you want to be the "Envy" of collectors, even Super Hero collectors and get some Ghost Rider issues...well...Pony up and find you copies of Magazine Enterprises Ghost Rider.

I have a set I am trading for and while i wouldn't trade a single page for a deadpool issue (hell, i think these will lie in my safe forever), I can tell you they bring insane prices and are BEAUTIFUL books.
I have Ghost Rider 1-7 the 1969 issues, and I love them as well and they are fairly cheap
Your NM 98, if it is in VF or better could net the entire run.
But
if you are serious about ghost rider, grab your straps and gaze upon these

#4, one of the best covers...OF ALL TIME !

Magazine enterprises ghost rider, yes the holy grail of ghost rider. And just for everyone's clarification I was joking about the no comment

Ok what about the night rider and phantom rider issues? Any feelings in regards to needed to eventually do a complete run of headlining comics. I don't want to case down all of the "best of west" stuff or the other off shoot appearances

I almost didn't understand what you said at 1st

Also,there are several issues above
The 1st issue above is a F+ to VF-

You cannot apply modern grading standards to a book that is 70 years old.
COmics have a life span, per the paper, of 50 years.

I have an EC book I will scan up later
Will be a 9.2-9.4 and it was from 1954
