It will be interesting to see if someone can get the NYC Skyline cover CGC Yellow lablelled by as many of the names on that book as possible in CGC 9.8 grade. That would be pretty awesome.

it wont be the last issue , at some point marvel will return to the numbering with issue number 750 or 800 ......... with a die cut glow in the dark scratch n sniff holo foil prismatic cover .

I really like the Midtown J. Scott Campbell cover the best out of all of them.

I pre-ordered quite a few so I'm covered, just wanted to get there today and get a copy to read. I'll have to avoid the net all day to not see spoilers.

Those are really pretty, I'll agree with you the Midtown variant seems to look the best to me as well.

I see people selling the lot of 5 (Excluding midtown variant) on eBay, some auctions are even going past $100. The skyline, 50th anniversary, and wraparound covers seem to be sold out at Midtown!

I ended up with 2 sets of the 5, and 1 midtown variant. Gonna try to get a cgc from Indy of the midtown variant.

I'm wishing I had picked up the Ditko Variant at my LCS, he wanted $300 for it. It has sold for as much as $600 on ebay now.

I already sold out on all my 700's. I didnt order many but they went fast. I have 1 midtown left, considering holding on to it but if i can get 60+ dollars for it ill probably just do it.

I got a Coipel variant today for $12 as well as 2 regulars. Got a 699.1 as well. Going to list 698, 699, 699.1, 3 Avenging, 3 DD, and 1 regular and the variant. Keep the other 700 to read. Well see what I can get out of it.

IMO 700 wont hold its value. I have heard 250k print run. Dont know if thats accurate but doesent sound out of the question. Just look at what walking dead 100's are selling for now compared to then.

I just tried to preorder five copies of Midtown Variant Superior Spider-Man #1, they are limited to one per customer pre-order. I have five Midtown ASM 700's incoming, I guess I'll just presell them on ebay rather than waiting to sell them as connecting cover sets.

I think the 700's 1st print will hold, the variants are a hit and run type of thing. I could presell my graded midtown, but am afraid rating might not be as advertised, could always say 9.6 or better but dunno..

I can't believe so many people just shell out $20 bucks for a normal 700 from a stock photo, you could be getting a roughed up copy.

I have some really nice copies I am trying to sell, but I dont think people really care about condition on ebay sometimes lol
