Default Anyone know anything about Bedlam #1 Special Edition Variant?

I just saw it listed on Larry's Website yesterday, but I can't find any info on it anywhere. I called Larry's and a young employee answered and told me he didn't know anything about it and only his boss would know, but he had no way to get me in touch with his boss. At $60 I would figure it is limited, if it was /100 it would be worth it, but if it's /500 probably not. Anyone know anything? It's definitely the best looking Bedlam cover IMO.

From what I gathered on the website it states their regional variants are limited to 1,000. I would say they are definitely taking advantage of the Bedlam #1 popularity at the price point. Will it be worth $60 at some point in the future....just not yet. BTW I love the comic. Image has some incredible reads out.

But they were selling the Phantom Variant /1000 for $15, do they now think another, later printed variant /1000 should be $60 now? Like I said, I called their shop and wasn't able to get any info, does anyone know the owner of Larry's to get more info on the print run?

Larry's took it down today, can't find it on ebay at all either. Anyone on any other boards that might be able to find out anything?

Larry messed up on that one. He posted the wrong photo and posted the item too early. More info will come regarding the print run when it's released. Knowing Larry, he will probably release the numbers right before it goes live. If he follows what he does with the Phantoms he might say the Thursday before.

Will it hurt the future value if it's a #1 that is released even after #2 in the series is out?

Default Bedlam Variant

I have heard that is actually the 2nd print of issue #1. Looks like Larry was trying to make a quick buck.

It'll probably be like his Chew #1 Variant and Invincible #1 Variants. Special Limited Edition 2nd (or later) printing. I could be wrong, but that's how those other two were handled.

I know the Chew variant still returns some money, but not as much when compared to the original edition. With that said, Chew did not have 70000000 variants like Bedlam has had. It could just get lost in the mix of variants.

Agreed, and after reading Bedlam #1, it was O.K., but unless the main character has some sort of super powers after begging to be shot, twice, which he was, then like all normal Human Beings, he would need about a full year of recovery time. I loved Happy #1 to an amazing degree, and couldn't wait to read #2; Bedlam #2, Meh, when I get it, I'll read it...

Straight from Larry:

"The scoop:
I commissioned a SE of Bedlam #1 a while back for a signing that now is not going to happen.

Nick had asked a while back if I minded that he used the cover for a later printing of Bedlam.
I told him would prefer he didn't.

I put up the incorrect picture.

limited to 400.

I'll start shipping this week ( Thurs or Friday ) as soon as I get my MASSIVE My Little Pony orders out the door. "
