Newbie Questions

Hey guys, I decided that I would like to start collecting comics! I really don't know much but I know Marvel is starting the Marvel Now and DC has the New 52 that they started over a year ago I believe. My question is what is the best site to get subscriptions from, and have the best prices? I'm mainly looking for Batman, Superman, Spiderman and maybe another. I checked midtown and there prices on stuff seems good but I don't like how you have to have 10 subscriptions for them to send you the comics on a monthly basis(not looking to spend that much a month) So is there any sites where you don't have to have that many subscriptions for them to send it to you? Sorry for being such a newb haha and I appreciate any responses. Thanks!

Do you have a comic store near you? Most of them offer subscription services, or you can subscribe straight from the Marvel or DC websites. I used to have a Batman subscription and it was like 50% off for the year, BUT the mailman tends to have rough sex with each copy before he delivers it, so if condition is a concern I'd advise against that route.

if you just want 4 or 5 issues a month . i would just order them through midtown . add them to your cart as they come out. its very unlikely that they will sell out of issues like those . midtown does a great job

Thanks for the responses guys, I will probably just order straight through Marvel/DC, and pick up older stuff from midtown.
