Default Image cutting second prints for many books

Apparently Image has decided to stop offering second prints of many of their books to encourage retailers to order more of the first print. Depending on whether those orders actually increase, I'm guessing this could have at least some impact on the secondary market.

This means if you see Saga #7 in the shop tomorrow, GRAB IT!

I don't normally purchase Image books anymore since the 90's crapfest other than Walking Dead.... but this would seem to be a good practice! I know that the demand has increased for books and they have gained alot of fans over the last decade or so but all these print runs and smorgasbord of variants gets a little ridiculous at times. Didn't Justice League #1 have like almost 9 different print runs.... 1 maybe 2 but 9 is crazy! I like the idea but wonder how long it will last and if they will start throwing ridiculous amounts of variants out like the bad ol days!

I wish they would only do one print run. If you miss buying it then too bad. Buy the trade when it comes out.

Dude, you're missing out on some really good stuff if you're avoiding Image today. The stuff they have pumped out this past year or so is really good, and aside from Bedlam didn't have many variants if any.

I get where you're coming from. I was in the same boat. A bunch of "Image Firsts" come out today. They're only a dollar, and some stores may even be giving them way.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

Image Comics | SEVEN IMAGE COMICS #1s FOR $1 EACH

+ 10000

All of those books are incredible. Think Thank is the best book that nobody is reading right now. Print runs in the 4K's. The trade just came out. I encourage you guys to pick it up on the cheap. If you like it, spread the word. It has huge potential.
