you can still pick these up at midtown. i was thinking about it but ill pass. Too much stuff to buy..

I picked it up randomly when it came out because the cover intrigued me. I read It and really enjoyed it. Picked up.number two.the other day and have yet to read that. Definitely worth snagging one.

I just went to Midtown to grab a couple and it's sold out. Was sold out last night, so maybe you got in at the right time. I emailed them to see if they have any more.

Just wondering why this is a good buy? I'm new to comics so please dont kill me!

Print run for #1 is 11,815 copies.

right its scarce but why do people want it other than how many there are. Why else is it a popular comic to pickup?

It seems like it's another book that is getting great reviews and the people that didn't get in on it at/before release are going "oh s***" better get one while I can."

If the writing is good and the book gets a long term following, the value can shoot through the roof. Saga #1 came out 9 months ago and sells for about $40 delivered on ebay or $90 as a CGC 9.8, and you could buy it for $3 at release. Chew #1 is just over three years old and sells for $450 raw or $600 as a CGC 9.8, again a $3 book at release. Of course Walking Dead is the grandaddy of them all, so clearly a comic being made into a hit TV show or Movie only increase the demand and value. Plus, Image recently announced they were going to stop doing as many 2nd and 3rd printings of their popular books.

Looks like it! The guy had a couple of copies left on the counter. I thought he was holding them for someone, but I asked and it was available. I bought this for $8. How'd I do? :)

I'll stop by there tomorrow to see if they still have it. I kinda wanted to go back there to get the ASM700 50th Anniversary variant, so this is the perfect excuse! :p They open at 10 AM tomorrow, so wish me luck on them having what we all want!

Looks like it was signed by Eric Stephenson. The guy at the comic shop said it arrived like that. I found one listing on Ebay for a signed copy, and through Google I found someone else had posted their signed copy on Twitter. Not sure why these came in signed...I can ask tomorrow though.

Now all sold out. I was able to snag 5 of them along with 3 of the Avenging Spider-Man #15.1.

I bought 14 of them at about 2:00 Pacific time, as well as 3 of the Amazing Spider-Man #700 Midtown Variants at $10.20 each (10%off). The Nowhere Men 1st Print is all sold out now, and the ASM #700 Midtown doesn't have the 10% off, it's the full $12 (meh, it's selling for $25-$30 delivered on ebay as of right now). Also, apparently you can order 3 of the Avenging Spider-Man #15.1 every 24 hours. I bought three of them yesterday in my order with Midtown, and three of them just a few minutes ago at 2:00 AM Pacific time. For $2.50 each, they are selling around $15 each plus shipping on ebay. Forget Daredevil #21 with a tiny intro of Superior Spiderman, #15.1 has his first full appearance and should be much more desirable/valuable. Also, four comic sets of ASM #698, 699, 700 and Avenging 15.1 are selling for $40 plus $6 shipping no problem right now.
