I went looking for the ASM 700 "Credits" variant

But I think it was overpriced, so I got these instead.

I think I'm happier with these than the variant.

Is this the skyline variant?? If so I'm glad I picked one up from midtown last Saturday... Even got the 50th anniversary cover too.... The 50th was the one I wanted the most.

It really has... I really haven't seen a book in demand like this in a while. Is the print run huge also? either way its pretty nice to see Spidey get his due! even if this just a hoax and they bring back ASM... Hopefully they don't do like a crap load of 2nd, 3rd, etc.. prints.

Usually amazing spiderman print runs are anywhere from 55-80k. Im just guessing but its going to be much higher than that.

ASM 698 is hot
ASM 700 is hot
Daredevil 21 is hot
Avenging spiderman 15.1 is hot

Yea I need to pickup Avenging 15.1... hopefully I can find one still.. I usually have 2 or 3 shops I go to so I'm sure I will get lucky and find one!

Be patient. In a couple of months, the hype will have moved on to something else and Avenging 15.1 will be half of what it is now.

That's why you need to be patient with the variants now as well.

You dont need to order 3. Im saying 3 is the max you can order. They are selling around cover price which seems fair enough to me

OH Yea! I was speaking in the sense that if I hadn't found one.... I was patient with the DOTF books and ended up finding batman and catwoman newsstand issues weeeeeeeeks after it had come out.... I still can't believe I found them! the catwoman one was not in "perfect" condition but not alot of people have them!.... sorry I got off track! I'm sure I can find one Avenging 15.1 here soon at cover price.

If you get a "credits" variant that you don't want to get graded and you want to get rid of it for around cover, hit me up.

Yeah, I can't offer those prices anymore as my cost on the raw books is going through the roof right now.

Anything Spidey is awesome..I am an odd one..My goal for my personal collection is to get Stan and Todd to sign a Spidey they did together..It must be possible..

I think desert winds comics can do this for you. They always have both those artist listed under them for personal signings.

I have talked to them..The problem is getting Stan and Todd together, otherwise, one sign, then desblab, the other sign then slab back I guess..I will find out..I am going to get the skyline variant signed by Stan through Desert Wind..I online subscribe to comics, so just waiting for the shipment.. I ended up with a total of 5 sets of variants, 4 midtown variants, and then the 2 graded ones from Indy..I picked up daredevil 21, avenging 15.1, so thinking of doing a DD 21, Aveng 15.1, Amazing 698. 699 and then a 700 variant and offering that one up for sale..dunno yet though..Keeping one of each for my collection

Yep, and I would buy 181s all day long over a comic that was just printed.

But I am not going to complain, prices that high for a variant will keep the regular and more common variants high as well.

No, but what you do as an educated comic lover is sell the Ditko, take the profit, buy the 181 for your PC. FREE HULK! (Or as close as you can get to in being free, you might have to shell out a few coins yourself)

I feel I have more regrets off not purchasing ASM 700 than I do for not approaching certain girls in my classes and getting to know them. LOL.
