Picked up ASM 700, Avenging 15.1, and Daredevil 21 today while at my local shop. Shop owner knows I collect ASM has my #1 book so she threw those in my file. I asked her about variants for 700 and she said they sold out on wednesday cause they were selling them at cover price. Why didn't I get there sooner so I could pick up the Credits variant? Oh well!

Yeah, the book is on FIRE!! When Captain America died a few years back, this happened, but not this big. This is HUGE! I just sold my Copiel variant for $35, I might have gotten more on Ebay, but this was to a guy I know, and he could have easily grabbed one in the store, he just forgot, so I cut him a decent deal as I know I could easily get that on Fleabay for it, and if base copies are hitting $41, wow.. this is insane. I'm glad I pre-ordered these

Let me see where I'm at on Wednesday, the New Years Holiday has me kind of on hold, and I still have orders to fill, but if I have any left over I'll sell you one at cover & shipping, but I honestly don't think I do, BUT if I do, you get 1st dibs at it. Man, this Dynamic Forces Spider-Man #700 signed by Stan Lee is TEMPTING!!! The man is a legend, and 90 years old, it's the last issue of a character he created! ERMAGERHD!!! It's just the price tag is so hefty, but then again, I thought that with the Ditko which was 120-200 a few days ago, and now it's hitting 400-600. Actually, my local shop sold their copy to a Spidey fan for $1400.. So.. hrm.. argh... is the wife sleeping.. can I get to my wallet without waking her up.. If you don't hear from me in the next hour, call St. Vincents Hospital and see which room I'm in.

The Midtown Variant has gone up $10 on BIN today to $75

75 bucks for a comic book that came out 4 days ago!!! This is insane!!!

I noticed that a seller by the name "phillyman comics" had some reg cover 700 on ecrater. I am very leery of wanting to purchase anything from that site, but if you have experience with him, he says he has stock.

I've been watching completed sales all day and Spidey #700 base is STILL pulling in 20-30 a pop.. this is crazy.

That is because non-comic people are jumping on the bandwagon, I saw two different new channels mention ASM 700 today on TV, I bet it stays strong for a full week.

Man, there's a HUGE comic book show in Indy tomorrow, and my wife made me promise to take her to see Les Miserables tomorrow.. Argh.. I'd love to hit the show and see if I could snag a Ditko there, but I'll be stuck in that dumb movie, crying.. but not for the reason my wife thinks..
