Comics seem to be a frustrating thing to love.
Seems like I will be regretting non-purchases left and right.

I think you guys will feel better when they are selling for only $10 in a week or two.
Saga on the other hand...$80 isn't a bad deal for that set which includes the Ghost Variant. #1 is already a $40 book and #2 is a $20 book

I'd say so. There are some eBay listings ending soon for about the same set, so pay attention to those. The title isn't cooling off anytime soon.
#1 is a $40-$50 book raw #2 is a $20 book raw Ghost Variant is a $10-$20 book raw With those three issues alone, you're getting your money's worth.

These came in today for me. Was not happy at all how they were shipped. All 9 issues were stuffed in a golden age bag with backing boards on front and back. Then just in a corrugated fold-over book mailer.
1, 2, and the 7 Ghost Variant are thankfully ok, but none would 9.8. Couple of the other issues would be luck to get 9.2

Just opened second fold-over mailer and it was worse... UGH... #1 is nice as far as no spine stress, but the back has printer inking stain transfers from other comics. Also issue 4 has a crease in the font cover as well as a dog eared top left corner :/
On the bright side, the comic shop I stopped at this morning had some walking dead season 2 packs and I bought the rest of them and got a shot print Laurie Holden auto which sells around $135

Just got off the phone with the owner and he said for me to basically put together the worst ones from a mix of the two sets I got and he will replace them, he will also cover all my shipping back to him as well. Stand up guy.

I got mine today as well. All were in great shape thankfully. All though my set was missing #7 Ghost Variant. Called Chapel and the guy grabbed and packaged one for me while we were on the phone. Awesome people. Thanks for the tip Indy. Just finished issue 5. Hands down on the way to becoming my favorite series.

I was surprised when you posted that they arrived damaged. Purchased some items from them during the summer and everything looks 9.8
Glad to hear they are replacing the damaged books. Mad I didn't order when the set was $79, I did just pick up 4 9.8 worthy issue #1 on amazon so that makes up for it. Indy can expect a shipment from me at some point in jan. for grading

Every time I order from Tmccards they are grade worthy. I ordered a bunch of revival from them a while back and they look great. Packing is perfect as well.
Side note: they adjust their prices pretty frequently so I usually watch the prices every other day. Sometimes you will see a decrease of $5 on certain books. |
