Default Think Tank

From the pages of the Revival thread...Introducing Think Tank in its own action packed thread.

If anyone is interested in getting in this series at the ground floor, now is the time. Super low print run and great series.

SDCC variants are still available and the Top Cow store currently has a holiday sale going on!

Eat your heart out Stan Lee. How was that for an introduction?

I also picked up 5 copies earlier. Hopefully they have enough to fill all our orders after reading the revival thread.

Pulled the trigger on the SDCC Variant, signed. Pretty good price, considering MT is selling the unsigned version for a few bucks more.

I grabbed 5 of the variants, thanks for the heads up. This book has great potential.

I was in for 5 on the other thread as well. I think it's funny to think that assuming our orders go through and a print run of ~650, us in this thread together probably own about 5% of the entire variant run! LOL!

Just give it time, if you keep buying 1 or 2 of the potential hot books, and then sell when they're HOT, you can save up a nice little stash to buy more with, just don't go crazy and be somewhat conservative in your purchases. Buy a few, and if you see a trend, buy more as you can. It's not a race, but a marathon.

Same thing happened with Hardcore #1 Sketch Variant. I think we all bought every copy Top Cow had on their web site.

+ 1 on this. The time will come when you're buying 9.8 CGC's ahead of a spike in popularity and submitting your own as well.

If it wasn't for my gf's "put a ring on it" campaign, I'd still be buying one issue, reading it and then filing it in a longbox.

The biggest purchase I made was the 1-10 ToT. This was a big investment purchase for me. But, based on what I have read, it is possible that this could be big, with the potential AMC series in the works.

Ohhh, kk I see what you're talking about now. I think most of us in the thread ordered the Think Tank #1 Cover B Incentive Bagus Hutomo based off Midtown's naming.

It's weird though, the topcow store has this in the description of the one we bought THINK TANK #1 Bagus Variant Cover :
(W) Matt Hawkins (A) Rahsan Ekedal & Brian Reber
The action-packed science series from MATT HAWKINS and RAHSAN EKEDAL tells the tale of a brilliant scientist trapped in a military think tank and his attempt to escape. Available only at Comic-Con, this exclusive cover by BAGUS HUTOMO introduces the world to slacker genius scientist - Dr. David Loren! Rated Teen Plus.

Edit: All their Think Tank #1 on thetopcowstore seems to have the same description. I'm not too sure what is going on with that lol

I think this variant might be for the Think Tank Military Dossier that is being released on January 9th. I could be wrong. I'll do some digging. I'll let you guys know what I find out.

I hope it does well. I got to meet the artist, Rashan Ekedal, at SDCC. He was a pretty nice guy.

Haha. Yeah, that's me. I also sent Matt a message, but I know he's on vacation until the 3rd. Hopefully someone there will have some info to share.

Looks like it's the Military Dossier one-shot...

Not sure what the $20 price tag is for though
