Default CGC comics forums

In the modern section, it is comical (pun) to see how much people there are bagging on spiderman and the direction of the story, not only that, but they are also bagging on the people buying them above cover price.

+ 1 I give it two weeks at most. Happy to be wrong, but that 7.99 cover price and print run kept me away. Sell em' while you got em'

Plus they are going into a 2nd print. I imagine the ditkos and midtowns will be sought after but not at the prices they are fetching now.

I know the prices won't hold at this level, but there is a difference in understanding that, and acting like drama queens toward the buyers of said comics in a public forum. If not for those buyers they are insulting there would not be those huge spikes.

So true. Whos to say spiderman 700 ditko isnt worth mega bucks? If someone wants it bad enough they will buy it and its worth it to them. Anyways I sold all my 700's right away, not that I had many in the first place. I still havent gotten my midtown variant but will probably sell it right away when i get it.

I listed both my 700 regulars and the xmas variant as soon as I got them. Within 1 hour they were purchased. I checked back the next day and the price had already dropped 4 dollars because there were so many new listings people were in a war to undercut each other and sell theirs first.

I created the listing on amazon for the midtown variant since I have an ISBN exemption. Within 10 minutes of me creating the listing one person had used my listing to post their midtown variant for 89.99. Same with my little pony. Anyways im just thankful that there is only one other guy selling the midtown on amazon so far

I say buy em and sell em right away.

It's the CGC forum. You'll have that with a lot of things. You'll soon figure out the ones who always bag on certain titles and will be able to block out their opinions.

Any collectible is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
