I saw that post, but now they deleted off their Facebook... I wonder what's going to happen.

They will keep their word. The guy one the CGC board that is running this is a stand up dude. He'd risk a lot or cred if he didn't.

I see someone posted em already on ebay..Now I don't mind a pre-sell, but this one I am little worried I might not get my 2 issues..lol..They tossed em up too cheap..45.00..I would think these should bring 150.00 or more being limited to London

by next week those low ball #'s will be cleared out and new higher levels set. Just like stock trades. he regular issue has been SOLD -OUT from Marvel for 11 days now. That is why you are seeing some on-line places offering you 1 copy only or already sold-out. The dealer to dealer and secondary market is going to be more crazy IMO than #700 . I think only 125-150,000 print and one half the price on cover sure makes its a mover and a shaker in supply and demand. IMHO

I agree..I think alot of the hype will die down after Superior 1..But until then, I would keep hitting..I mean the Quesada wrap-around I have up for 150.00 is on DF for 399.00..I had to put 150.00 opening to compete..

I don't have any room to talk because ASM 700 pulled me back into comics, but you have a lot of people from sports cards and other industries coming to cash in on the craze.

A lot of these people, especially the sports card mentality will undersell the hell out of stuff just to get out of it fast so it will effect the market here and there but hopefully it won't have an impact. Once they start losing money when they try to speculate on other things aside from ASM 700/SS #1, they will realize it's not as easy to make money in comics as a big release like ASM 700 makes it seem to be.

They'll lose their ass eventually. You've got to be immersed in the industry though reading them, knowing the audience, the properties etc.. I see it happen over and over again.

yeah, I know this rodeo well, from the roller coaster that is dealing with changing story arcs, to the politics of cgc.. They don't, and like you said, they will get their ass burned.

Hahhaah!!!! These two paragraphs sum me up!!!! But I actually read spiderman 700 on my iPad Marvel app and am hooked again! Both on the speculation of comics as well as the pure entertainment! I work west coast stock market hours and have a 40 minute train ride into SF at 4am each day and read my comics the whole ride and it goes by faster than the Flash!!!!

So my order of 10 superior variants still states pending. I tried to contact them on the website but still no response.

If anybody here received a response can you please tell me how you contacted them so I can try and make sure I Get my 10 or 2 if they change the limit on me.

When did you place the order? Does it say "Payment Pending"?

I did get an email 5 minutes after the first message they sent me stating my order was confirmed for 10 issues. I even called the bank incase funds were held due to being a different country and they said they don't see any activity from yesterday.

That's pretty much what mine says, but I checked out a little more than 4 hours earlier. It will say pending until the order ships.

Based on what the guy in charge says...

1. All orders placed prior to 12.00am yesterday (midnight) G.M.T. will be honoured in full.
2. All orders after that will be for 2 copies per customer and orders for larger quantities will be auto cancelled.

Somebody placed one for 75 as well. If it's him, he's going to have some upset customers...The only U.S. retailer getting these is midtown. I'm sure they'll be limited to one per customer like the rest of the SSMs.
