Default Midtown shipping problems

Just realized that midtown used UPS to ship to my PO Box... you would think they would have people in their shipping dept who would know not to use UPS when sending to a PO Box

its a combined ups/usps delivery. ups delivers it to your post office and usps delivers it to you.

What he said. The tracking number they give you looks like a USPS tracking number but you track it on ups.

Midtown uses a ups ground lite which starts off ups and then is handed off to usps for delivery. So ups pays usps to do final drop off. Its cheaper this way. Im told this is only offered to businesses. The problem with this is the tracking, once it gets into your city its no longer tracked by ups.

Thank for the info and you guys were spot on. It's a shipping arm of UPS that ships it to your local postal distrubution center, then it goes to your local post office from there.

I was kind of confused on that too, but what upsets me is how long Midtown has taken to ship orders between Christmas and New Year's. I guess they had a tough time selling out of all their ASM 700's, so it seems like they are a week behind on shipping. I guess we can't be too mad at them for the ASM 700 Midtown Variant when I paid $55 of five of them vs. what they are selling for a week after release. I'll have to email all of my pre-order buyers that it will take an extra week to get their books.

There's definitely some weirdness going on...Today I received an order I placed on 12/31, but I still haven't received an order that should have shipped on 12/26...
