I used to deal heavily in coins and currency, but could never bring myself to sell this. Yes it really is from 1776.

For example I have a note from 1846 from Levenworth Kansas called an Obsolete, Kansas obsoletes are VERY rare because of the turmoil there before the civil war, many buildings (including banks) were burned down, and the paper currency with them, so it is exceptionally rare, might see 6-8 for sale in a year or less.

I collect modern stamps, not a lot of them, but when they put cool ones out I'll grab a sheet, like Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, the Muppets and of course my DC comics sheets!
I also collect comedian autographed photos like Johnathan Winters, George Burns, Don Knotts, Leslie Nielson, etc... That's really about it outside of comics anymore.

I used to collect b sides, rare imports and rare vinyl releases from different indie, punk, hardcore and metal bands...
Space became limited and my gf reminds me OFTEN that I'm not in a band anymore and need to grow up, so I sold most of it. Held on to some of the vinyl that had some sentimental value, but I sold the rest. It was time for someone else to enjoy. Other than that. I have some worthless baseball cards from when I was a kid.

I've sold some stuff to that guy as well. Can't remember what off the top of my head though. I just remember the name. Maybe he should have focused less on comics and more on winning a Super Bowl...

![]() I am getting back into Magic the Gathering as well. Was a fun game back in the early 90's and it seems to be exploding again so I have ripped a few boxes for inventory and working on trying to buy a few collections to build decks with. I also collect robots,Orange Crush and board games pre 1972

It really depends on how you value your cards, what comics you are chasing TBH.
I have a shop but I RARELY deal in new books. If you are into spiderman I did pick up 2 different collections last week. Filled my missing slots and moving the rest. Them I can do well on. Have a nice chunk in the mid 200;s that will CGC at 9.8 Anyway, let me know what you have and where to go from there. I used to be a DCI Judge back in the 90's and make the tourny rounds through 8 states. Got dull as the cards started to die so I moved on. Game has changed so much now that playing catch-up is almost laughable

That's way cool. I don't necessarily collect stamps but my great grandfather gave my grandfather gave me (I know, a little confusing) some stamps and I mean a ton of them. He told me that it was only 2 books of them and there was a lot more that he had. I looked through and there some pretty crazy stamps in there as well as cool ones. I can never picture myself collecting stamps but I enjoy looking through them from time to time.
