Hey you can single handedly drive down the price on Ebay because I have a feeling you will want to get out of them quickly so you will list them far below what they are currently, or will sell for.

I'm anxious to see what the Superior base and Deadpool books go on the secondary. I think Superior is already sold out, and Deadpool is always popular. Good buys IMHO, and if you're selling I hope you do very well!! The fear is always over-buying and underselling which Carrbeaz is talking about, it hurts sales when people do that, it happens more often in the card world IMHO. At least with comics, you can at least get cover price if a book totally tanks and if you're buying cheaper than that, you're still making a few cents here and there.

From my understanding SS #1 sold out completely from Marvel 10+ days ago. There is only a secondary market at this time IMO should bode well for the book and the variants.

Someone asked why would the prices of variants with known quantities in the 1000's made sell for so much. My only way to describe this was in baseball Trout and Harper have WAYYYYYYY more fans and their items are in much greater demand than the utility infielder that the regular fans hardly know his name. 3500 for the London Variant is a lot but I guarantee you there are far more than 3500 Spider-man fans worldwide who are over zealous to put that book in their collection never to be seen on the market again. All jmho

Yeah, Spiderman sells about 60,000 a month on average, so that's 18 Spidey fans per 1 variant, and that's IF all 3500 were available. Lots of collectors will be keeping their copy, making even fewer available, so the ratio of demand vs supply on the UK variant will be high, this book should reap a hefty reward.

so 400 2nds at what price..The ditko just sold for 1600.00..So you could probably put him up for 1100.00 starting..So it would depend on 2nd print cost

The incentive is 1:250 so its your call but 1:400 he is pawning 150 issues off on you. Plus the Ditko was NOT current market. Kinda of luike some Jordan auctions.

I would go for it, sell the Ditko ASAP and be into the 2nd Prints for probably less than $1 per book. The 2nd Print of ASM 700 will be a strong book simply based on the fact that the cover is Freaking Amazing looking, and homage to ASM 300 but with Doc Oc in the center. Go for it if the offer still stands. Good lcuk and let us know how it turns out.

I applaud the guys effort. Pawn 400 off on you and give you the Ditko so then he only has to dump 100 more to get the 2nd Ditko.

Here's a better look, probably cooler than any of the 700 covers other than the Ditko and arguably the Midtown.

Product Details: Amazing Spider-Man #700 second print

Exactly what is being done. And I am not saying it is bad but value that Ditko at 900-1000 not 1600. You will stay make money but you better sell in large lots. Packing and shipping comic books is a lot tougher than ball cards. I know

had the guy call me...he said its only 250 not 500 he made a mistake...so i figure even if i sell the comic for 900 im only paying less then 300 for 250 comics

Only incentive is the 1:250 Ditko cover . NO OTHER INCENTIVES. But it's a good one ;-)

there is a reason Marvel last minute offered this incentive because they weren't getting that many or the numbers pre-ordered they hoped to get. In todays comic world 250,000 is A LOT of books this isn't the 90's where books went into the millions some times. I am just saying I would be SHOCKED if the 2nd print sold well especially with the mentality that the rip and flip, oops burn and turn people have. All I can say is that I am so glad that books like Superior Spider-man #1 and Savage Wolverine #1, Deadpool Killustrated are already FOC because it looks likes there are sharks in the water. Hey I do it too, but I "INVEST" in image books. Better stories, sometimes great art lol but always limited print runs (except WD ). There books continue to go up because at some point demand far exceeds supply . IMHO
