I must say. I like the ending. Definitely going to make for an interesting series and character development. Let's see where this goes.

Didn't want to like it, but I did.

I loved it, and loved the ending. It's like he's gonna have a daily fight with his former enemy.

The only thing I don't like is the fact that it will keep SS from being too dark. I want to see some previous spiderman foes bite the dust.

I think it still has a chance to be. He gets fired from the Avengers for something soon. Maybe he killed somebody or pulled a Wayne Brady and slapped a B

Depends on how much influence he has as Oc can't see/hear him, it's more on an unconscious thing and maybe the doc can overcome it? It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out. Issue #5 supposedly something bites the dust

Spidey fired from the Avengers?! LOL too funny.. can't wait.

Oh, and did you see that Alpha is gonna have his own book in March? That'll be interesting as I have a feeling he's gonna be pissed off, and we know who he'll be angry with. Peter-Octo-Man!

He has kind of become a punisheresque type character.

I liked it. Will continue to read. As for my flipping of it, will be turning them as quick as I can...and here's why...

SPOILER ALERT:

All signs based on the last panel point to The real Peter coming back eventually, as was expected by many. When it happens this and the 700s will plummet.

Unless, Otto captures Dr. Strange and forces him to banish the spirit/essence of Peter Parker forever.

Alright I'm posting here with the assumption that people reading this thread have read the book...
.
.
.
.
.
So I liked the ending also on showing Peter Parker and stating he will find a way back. I think it's cool that we get to see a darker Spiderman, but actions like calling the news press to watch a fight, the arrogant attitude...people will pick up on that and will question who this Peter Parker really is. I wonder how long that will last for. That bluetooth headset screams D-Bag too...

I did get a laugh out of Doc Ock's appreciation of "the view"

Alpha is coming back in March. I think he'll be able to pick up on Spider-Man being a lot different and not the same.

Spoiler below..........

I think they blew Thier load way to soon showing "ghost" Parker in the final panel.
IMO should have ended with just Doc not being able to kill him, but not knowing why. I mean could have waited until at least SS 2 to show Parker! Why the huge rush? He Wasn't gone but 5 minutes!
