Interesting. I think they may be limited to 1 per person on MT. Just tried buying a couple, at it only let me get 1.

I don't get it, why would someone spend $40 from the same place you can buy it for $4.99. Am I missing something?

I can't explain it, it just happens. The books is getting great reviews..

This is a return to the quintessential Star Wars era of our collective childhood. This is Luke, Han, Leia, Chewie, Artoo, and Threepio the way they were meant to be, fighting against the odds, their backs to the galactic wall, the entire universe stacked against them. Darth Vader and the Emperor are at the height of the malevolent power. The rebels are on the run, and the TIE Fighters are hotly in pursuit. Writer Brian Wood has done some jaw-dropping awesome work on CONAN, so, while my hopes are quite high, hes certainly delivered a cosmic first issue one that picks up only days after the events depicted in STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE but hes set course for a journey worth taking.

how does Hastings ship? biggest concern before buying. Also, what are normal print runs of Hastings exclusives?

I don't know, they just started offering comics on their site. This will be the first time I've ordered from them, but judging from past hot comics, their variants go fast and pull nice premiums on the secondary market.

awesome to see Star Wars doing well! I ordered some of the Hastings variants! I also got some of the regular covers...really good story (as I predicted) but when you have a great writer like Brian Wood it's usually a no-brainer!
