I placed an order after Indy posted this with my Credit Card - I just wanted to see what would happen.
I still haven't seen an order cancellation, or anything else since.

Heavy Ink is ridiculous.
Dropped, and yes I mean dropped comic (Batman Inc #8) in a rigid mailer, no bag or board. Comic came with bad corner dine and about 7 color breaking spine marks... guess I have my reader copy.

Yikes, that's not good news Carr! I've ordered from them once so far and didn't have an issue, but I got multiple copies and they were packaged okay. They may have rushed those shipping's as they probably got hammered and wanted to get them out fast. You can't exchange quality shipping protocol for speed IMHO.

So my saga with Mile High Comics appears to have ended.
To recap, ordered 4 JSC Savage Wolverine #1 Variants and received them damaged due to poor shipping packaging. Sent them back for replacements, called several times to confirm receipt and resend. I was told the last time I called them that they found the ones I sent back and were sending replacements. Today, I notice a refund on my card for the total of the books I bought. I guess I am thankful that I am not out the $33 I spent on them. This will probably end any future business with MHC. First time purchasing, terrible results all around. However, I will say that they were nice on the phone. That was the only redeeming part of the situation.

I'm going to toss Nostalgia Zone Comic Stores Buy Comics, Online Comic Store, Shop Back Issue Comic Books For Sale up there.
I ordered several comics from them that they have listed as available and purchased them. Four of the six comics I order have been heating up and I figured I'd snag them. About four days go by and I get an email from them explaining that the four comics I had ordered were out of stock and they just hadn't updated their website. The other two comics were available. So, I just respond and say I'll cancel the order and please refund my money. It's been several days and no response and no refund. But I bet they are turning those other comics around for a better payday right now... |

Attempted to order from njoy again. Won't even bother in the future.
Placed order on monday, paid extra for faster shipping. Order still says processing. Email them to complain. They respond saying they sent me pics days ago of the books I ordered indicating damage, asking if I still wanted them. The email and pics were never actually sent. See the pics today, books are damaged, cancel order, actually get refund in a timely manner. Its half assed operations such as this that causes me to buy a good number of books from the frigging UK. |

Never preorder from dreamland comics.. Specially when you place your preorder months ahead.. It happend to me twice..
Preordered some comics a month ahead.. After the comics release ebay prices went up. So i check their site and the prices also went up. One order actually sold out after the relase date. The second order i noticed when i check back thier site the price went up 3x and still available, but my order still did not ship.. Then all i get is " diamond did not semd us enough so i i have to refund you the money." So pretty much unless you preorder unpopular comics you will get it. But when you order a good comics thats gonna go ip in price, they will not send you the comics instead they will triple up the price and sell it. * sorry for spelling, im using my iphone* |

However Zig Comics on eBay:
eBay Feedback Profile for zigcomics Bought 4 book from them Shippded quickly. But no boards No bags a single piece of cardboard on one side of omics ans support. Not surprising all 4 comics came damaged. Only about $10 deal. But paying $6 for shipping and getin them like this cheeses me off. |

CCL Seller: Paladin Games And Collectibles. Terrible Seller. Terrible packing caused damaged comic so I gave them a mortal rating only to have them give me a villain rating, wtf. Piss poor example of a seller. In case you don't know CCL ratings are Hero/Mortal/Villain.
