Default Revival: Time to sell?

I use invest comics as one of my many resources for info on current n classic comics and I was surprises to read that their broker report for Feb said it was time to sell up.

A knew jerk reaction to the TV show clone/rip off that's getting a pilot or do they not see potential for a long successful run for revival?

I was planning to become a member of cgc to get my comics graded and the first two issues of revival are on my to do list since there is no options to do it here in the UK.

What are you guys thoughts?

PS. Happy new comic book day!!!!

Sure sell them to me...I'll buy whatever you have depending on condition.

I've got a big hoard of Revival. I think it's a quality book and the first arc just finished with great reviews. Whether the TV show gets off the ground or not i still think it has long term potential like Saga (which has had no talk about a TV show or movie at all) and also has a similar print run.

I'm going to keep holding mine

I'll take a well written comic book over an unfinished novel any day!

The article also mentioned selling your PP 1-whatever........

I think it is way to early to be jumping off this bandwagon. If the right folks make the series and it is as good as the book, it could appeal to a much higher demographic than WD, thus making the demand for the book even higher. Just my 2c.

Revival is just a waste of time. Horrible Comic, Horrible Writers! Why waste your money with it?

Just unload them to me

My badd, John! I must have overlooked your request or it wasn't as prevalent

Either way, who wants Revival?

I'm really gutted about this slump. I have every single print & variant, 2 copies of all regular first prints + the fcbd & 2 copies of the tpb - 1 is the ex-libri bookplate one.

I put a lot of faith in revival - I'm happy that its actually a great book but not gonna lie. Market potential was also I big factor.

Feel like now I shoulda put more stock in Saga than I did :/

Slump? I haven't looked lately but I thought sales were steadily climbing?

Sure are a lot of "ifs" in the "will this book increase in value" as far as I can tell.

Sell, make your money and move on to something else.

I only bought the 3rd Eye Variant #1 to add to my Image collection. Did not care much for the story, but then again, books of that genre are not my thing.

To me (just my opinion) - revival is a huge sleeper even at raw 1 reg cover selling for 33+ship.

I am gonna dump my ToT and Saga but gonna keep Revival

I hope prices keep climbing. I just sent in 3 revival #1 1:10 to Cgc along with some PP today. I should have 10 total slabs of revival so if prIces were to start coming down I guess I'd be losing out

U was going to save it for the picture thread, but I finally was able to go through all my inventory and my Revival hoard includes:

13 #1A
4 #1B
2 #1 Third Eye
2 #1 CBLDF Sketch
7 #1 2nd Print

11 #2 1st print

9 #3 1st print

Planning on pressing both CBLDF, subbing those 2 with 3 1B, 2 Third Eyes, my 5 best #1A

Should all be 9.6-9.8 the CBLDF are questionable after a pressing ill see what happens as far as grade but my 1As, 1Bs, and Third Eyes from my untrained eye are all easy 9.8 candidates.
