Default You read SS #2? Thoughts?

Just read Superior Spiderman #2... thought it was a good read... would prob give it a B/B+... think Slott is setting the stage for something big to come in future books although not sure what, as he could take the story multiple directions. One think I do hope they don't do is bring back Peter Parker... at least not yet... would be interesting to see how Superior Spiderman's personality and persona develop over time.

let me know your thoughts.

I am liking it so far. I was never a huge fan of Peter Parker, so the thought of an edgier Spider-Man has peaked my interests.

I do agree, I hope that they do not bring Parker back, at least as Spider-Man. I think that era should remain over. Though, Doc Oc continuing to be Spider-Man forever, probably will not happen. Perhaps another consciousness will be transferred. Could you see Mary Jane as Peter Parker, as Spider-Man.....dun dun daaaaaaaaaaaaaa....

i haven't read it yet but after reading #1, i can't imagine how this version of spider-man can stick around for more than 10 issues. i wouldn't be surprised if they brought back ASM sometime next year

I like the like the story line so far. Stegman's art is great is drool inducing. I dont see Doc Oct being around for too long though. Hopefully Slott has something more impressive up his sleeve than the Avengers showing up like Ends of the Earth.
