when do books go on sale

For instance peter panzerfaust 9 and 10. Pre orders are no longer taken. Midtown pulled it so it says "coming soon"

Release date is 2/13 on 9 so when do these show up online for ordering. Anyone have a fairly good idea, i have never paid attention and was just curious.

They usually pull books 2 weeks before release date. Since Panzerfaust #9 is due 2/13, if Midtown has any more stock, they'll have them live on the site on 2/13.. The time varies. I've seen it as early as 11am, and as late as 5pm. You just have to kind of monitor the site on Wednesday.

so basically they dont put them up on the website until the day they release in stores? I always thought online retailers posted them earlier for some reason.

They do until they get too low on inventory so that they'll have some to list opening day. With comics, if you want to pre-order, the safest bet is to do it 2 months out from release date.

For example, if you want copies of Nowhere Men #4, it's best to pre-order now from TFAW. Or East of West #1

Yeah I know I do pre order but you know...sometimes you miss out on a book that you overlooked and its too late. So you gotta wait until it comes out on sale. Unfortunately i missed out on ordering these.

you can always view the previews to see if you want to buy early.
