I finally got a scale

To weigh out my packages and purchase shipping online. Never realized how much money i could save. I use to be the idiot in the line with like 10 packages in my hand, with everyone behind me looking pissed off.

Now Im the guy who walks to the side of the counter with one of those post office buckets full of envelopes and doesent have to do anything but leave them there

I literally save like 1 dollar for each shipment now. Pretty huge when you think of if annually.

Pp labels and the home scale are GREAT!

Dont think I would do a fourth of the selling I do if I had to stand in line at the post office.

Did that enough back in the 90's!

I ship most of my stuff from my house. Unless it is a very high dollar card, then I'll go to the PO but I will do the drive up blue bins. No wait...

I have a USPS 10lb desk scale and a 110lb floor scale. These were definitely worth picking up since I save quite a bit on shipping. I used to just have the desk scale, but I started selling Sideshow statues. Hard to weigh those big ass boxes on a little desk scale

Exact same thing here! Got tired of weighing myself, then picking up the statue and weighing myself again!

I did 1200 comics in 2012. I think it was time to move up to the big boy table and get myself a scale

Yep I literally mailed out 1200 comics myself. I mean i wrote the labels by hand and waited in line and everything

I wouldn't do any selling if not for online s/h. I use and am happy with endicia tho, they add delivery confirmation for free. I know I pay monthly, but their service does save me in the long run.

I did have a stamp for my return address so i didnt have to write that portion. That cut my writing in HALF lol

This reminds me of a joke.

Jesse took his blind date to the carnival. "What would you like to do first, Amber?" asked Jesse. "I want to get weighed," replied Amber.

They ambled over to the weight guesser. He guessed 120 pounds. She got on the scale; it read 117 and she won a prize.

Next, the couple went on the Ferris Wheel. When the ride was over, Jesse again asked Amber what she would like to do. "I want to get weighed," she said.

Back to the weight guesser they went. Since they had been there before, he guessed her correct weight, and Jesse lost his dollar.

The couple walked around the carnival and again he asked where to next. "I want to get weighed," Amber responded.

By this time, Jesse figured that she was really weird and took her home early, dropping her off with a handshake.

Her roommate, Laura, asked her about the blind date, "How did it go?" Amber responded, "Oh, Waura. It was wousy."

I bought one that measures up to 5 lbs. for $40.99 plus tax at Office Max, I don't think I'll be sending packages heavier than that very often. Works great.

I too recently picked up a scale...haven't ventured into printing off labels yet..

curious though...what's the cheapest route? I've heard pp, stamps.com. etc..I'd be interested in hearing opinions, pros/cons..dc?

PP, especially if you sell on eBay.

Stamp.com charges a monthly service fee. Not sure if they give a large discount on postage to off set their service fee.

I love PP shipping.
