Todd #2 already sold out at Midtown

Ironically, #1 is showing up at my local comic shops two or three weeks after it was initially released (and seriously, I didn't just miss it on the shelf, my buddies that work there are telling me they finally got it in two weeks after I was initially asking for it). I picked up three clean copies of #1 today at the same shop I asked for it two weeks ago. My three copies I got from Midtown were badly crushed along the middle spine, and I have one of them in my reader pile, just haven't had the time to get to it (I have a lot of books and Trades to read right now).

Before I get to it, how is Todd?

funniest comic I have read in my short comic time... its like a Jerry Springer on acid comic book... read it and let us know what you think... pretty witty in my opinion.

This is a mini series right? Or is it/will it possibly be an ongoing? Mini series tend to have a poor resale value down the road but will def want to pick up if ongoing.

mini so far but who knows. True minis have low resale value however if they turn into ongoing they have huge upside since no one bought them because they thought it was going to be a mini

I liked the story. It's definitely got the dark humor tone to it if you like that type of stuff. I'm looking forward to issue 2. It's supposed to have an intro by Danny Trejo related to a character in the 2nd issue (won't give away any spoilers).

All my lcs's still have 1 on the shelves. I preordered at least 10 at 50% off, so only in for like $15+ s/h. I liked it well enough, so hopefully it picks up steam.
