Default Hastings coming through !!HUGE!! and about a weeks worth of other sweet pick ups

i'll start with the biggie here. hastings had the superior quesada sketch for 59.99 last week, so i nervously grabbed up 6 quickstyle and was sweating the entire 6 days it took to get em. just waiting to open the package and them be folded in half or have the corners all bent to sh!t, but when i opened them this is what i got. everyone of them pretty clean n/m condition. probably not getting 9.6's or better, but for 60 bucks each i'm extremely happy. can't wait to get these on ebay.

and here's about a weeks worth of finds and digs at various shops around my house and by my school.

got all these in vf condition for 4 bucks each. super stoked on the sweet rocket racoon 1st appearance pick up

was able to luckily track down all of these for cover price. everything 1st print.

and finally some solid speculatory pick ups i was able to find in some .50 and 1.00 bins. got all the battle scars for .50 a piece. hoping they knock this shield tv show out of the park.

thanks for the look.

Nice haul! Hasting's shipping seems to be a crap shoot. They did let me return all of my damaged Superior variants though. Estimated 2-3 weeks to put the money back on my card.

Comics are basically loose in a small flat box. Maybe some padding, there is alot of room for the comics to move around. From what I read on this forum it is a 50/50 shot when odering with them. I did order twice with them though and my comics came in good shape both times.

here are today's pick ups. best buys of the day are easily the manhattans and spidey 252. the monkey variant is cool too.

found another battle scars for 50 cents, spidey 252 pretty close to if not n/m for 30.00. capt. marvel 30 v/f for 10.00, manhattan projects 3&4 1st prints 18 bucks total, guardians #5 monkey variant for 2 bucks, and found 2 supercrooks in a dollar box. decent day.

I need more comic shops. I have 2 near me. I e is my regular and pretty great for new stuff. Since it focuses more on card games, I've had some solid week or two late pick ups. But they dont have anything old at all.The other is awesome for rare classics but he charges through the ass for most of it, and all the new stuff is highly under ordered

:/

I know how you feel. My comic shop doesn't order over half this stuff.

figured i'd just continue this thread for my weekly pickups and finds.

went out hunting for the elusive panzerfaust like every other nerd yesterday. of all the shops i called only 3 had them in stock, 2 were nice enough to hold the only copies they had for me, and the 3rd had about 5 on the shelf but wouldn't hold any. i wasn't able to get to the 3rd shop till around 2pm and they were all gone, but did find a nice consolation prize on the shelf in the 3 nowhere men 2nd prints, so it wasn't a total loss.

so i was only able to get 2 yesterday, and still have a copy of 9 on hold for me till tomorrow at another shop, and one coming from mycomicshops to bring my total to 4, so not too bad compared to the bad luck others seem to be having. i might go hunting again today, but can't imagine having any luck. still found some other good stuff yesterday so can't be too bummed out about it.
