I had posted about this one but no one is paying attention. I have a few on pre-order.

Ten Grand is another I have looked at.

Can the market really support so much 'hits'?

In the short time I am here, I see so many titles being hyped as the next big thing, from BlackAcre to Sixth Gun to Helheim to East of West.

Flipping aside, are there enough comic readers to support so many titles in the long run?
Or is flipping really the game to play?

Find some titles, buy in advance, flip to less well informed speculators on release day and moved on?

I am asking because I really have no clue if this is how to play the game.

Not sure there is a set guideline. Something like Helheim won't be much of a quick flip and will appeal in the long run due to art and story. Some titles really only do well the day they are released due to speculation and people not knowing if a book is good or not, being they haven't been able to get a copy. I think from the flipping point of view it's all about hedging your investments but at the end of the day I assume most people here do it for fun/hobby.

The answer is no and you sell your books like playing hot potato. You sell it when they are hot and before they cool off. Most often than not if you hold onto them too long you may as well use them as toilet paper. Buy 20, sell 15keep 5 or whatever quantitiy you may order in.
