popped by the barnes by my school during lunch and nada. i asked a employee what they do with back issues, he said they ship them back and they are recycled

can you imagine how many key issues and hot books have been destroyed. i wonder how much of print runs are destroyed like this.

How would a Barnes and Noble employee know what they do with the books after they ship them back?

I think most stores have a policy of cutting them up or ripping the UPCS or something like that.

On a side note, could you imagine if they don't recycle them and just put them in a warehouse somewhere.

i would imagine because they work there and they know the policies of the stores. i'm sure they have been asked more than once too.

I don't think 2nd prints will resell well, but ya never know until you try.

My main LCS still had a few copies of 1 and 2 for cover. All the 2's were banged up, as were most of the 1's. I managed to snag the only 2 NM copies I could find of the #1. One could be a 9.8 contender, the other just NM. Has a slightly banged up bottom left corner. All in all, not bad for cover price

fml, #2 is hitting at 10-15 right now on ebay. i passed up at least 6 of these on my runs last week.

I placed this order a few weeks ago. They had over 25 in stock at the time. I asked for 15, so I was leaving plenty for them. This was before the book was getting hot. They didn't have a limit on the book at the time.

I never hear from them, and my order status never changes, I give them time since they are based in the UK. So I shoot them an email and they finally get back to me saying that my order has been cancelled because they "reserve the right to cancel orders that involve multiple copies of the same book as they would rather satisfy multiple customers than just one speculator."

The book now has a limit to 2 copies per customer on their site, which they could have instituted when they first put the book up for sale. They didn't even bother to offer to cut my order down to 2 copies to see if I wanted any at all.

Just finished reading the first two issues. Wooo...I like this book. Feels like a Marvel story. Edgy and gritty. If you have yet to read it, I would recommend it. Good stuff.

I worked for a Barnes and Noble college bookstore for 4 years. At the ens of the month every month, we were required to rip the covers off all magazines, and throw them in Recycling outside. I would assume stand alone locations follow the aame company practice, and treat comics likes magazines.

I moved my 1-3 sets a few weeks ago and am kicking myself now Yes, it's as good a time as any, but when issue #5 hits, sets might go higher.. I can't really complain though as I made money on my sets. Lots of money compared to what I had invested in the books. Injustice has been very good to Indy.

I have sold 15 sets of 1-3 first prints for $45 to $59 so i'm happy.
Only have 1 set left of first prints. But injustice has been very good to me.
Also i love the story... Yes i do read my comics people !

i have multiple copies of all except for 1 which i actually won on these boards. not looking to let that one go anytime soon. in gaming news, they just announced that they'll be coming out with a joker killing joke skin pack that features a red hood skin of the joker.
