Anyone doing well with helheim? I think I have 12 and sold 2 for 14 dollars. That is enough to cover the cost of my helheim books. Not sure if i want to sit on them or sell a few more.

On the opposite end nowhere men 4 seems to be going for less than cover.
I think i have 12 of those too but going to have to sit on those.

Oh and also curious how you guys are doing with peter panzer 10. I have a ton of those

I can't seem to shift the couple of Helheims i've got online now, sold one in week of release and they other 2 have just sat there. Kept my best 2 for grading but to be honest its been hard to get a decent copy over here.

On the flipside i've seen NWM #4 going for 2x or 2.5x cover price here!!

^^^ Was a typo Skel, was in reply to your sales of #4!

Its hard to find a good gradeable copy of helheim anywhere i think.

nowheremen 1 should be going for more than just 2.5x cover. Its more like 10x cover

I haven't sold any of my Helheim yet but then again I rarely sell on ebay. When I get my copies back from CGC then I might toss some up on ebay or here...I'm okay with holding onto these for awhile, especially if they get the news if it's ongoing!

I am looking for 9.8 Helheim 1. Do hit me up when you have one for sale.

Helheim NYCC seems to be losing quite a bit of steam. It used to sell over USD40 but it is now possible to buy one at USD20+. Good time to buy more?

Hmmm...last 2 sold for $40 and $60. Does not seem to be cooling off that much. I guess the pending auctions will tell more.

The ONLY way to sell this book is on BIN. Don't run them.

agreed. my buy in on this was 2 phantom's at 5.00 each, and 16 regular books at cover price. i already sold my phantoms using bin for a little over double my investment, and right now have 7 of my helheims on a bin or bo auction just to try and recoup my investment. then i will sit on the other 9 and wait for this book to take of. this isn't a instaflip imo. this is something i'm comfortable sitting on for the time being.

John's right, sell enough to pay off investment, then put them away for awhile.

NO offense to anyone in this forum, or even on the cgc forums, but lately I've seen too many chicken littles playing in comics lately. If something doesn't skyrocket after the first week, people run for the hills. The true money comes by getting back what you put in, and keeping the rest. Trust me on this. Bunn's a super hot writer, and this is only the first issue. In 6mo's time, this will be ongoing and 1's will be $25-40ish. That I'm willing to bet on.

Exactly, and as I've said before, this is a marathon, not a sprint.

If you guys bought Helheim when I put it out there for the forum @ $1.50 (50% off) then even if you sell at cover + shipping you come out ahead. It's a no brainier...you should not be losing money on this because it was "speculated" way before the crazy 6th Gun stuff happened!

Even more so if you get these back at CGC 9.8 or CGC 9.9...you can pay off the grading fees + all the Helheim you bought!

Honestly, with Death of Dracula, I bought into too much of what was being fed to me instead of relying on my own wits and got stung a bit. I've learned to watch the authors/trends/history more closer on my own without buying into the HYPE MACHINE to make my picks now and I think I've gotten a little better at it.

same here...Death of Dracula was a wake up call for me...I'm still sitting on about 15 copies! I even partitioned out some to send to cgc but that will never happen!

Here is a nice little report on the market.

While nothing on here is a secret its nice for him to put it all together in one place.

He asked us to share it out so consider it shared

for regular issues it might be the 1st...not for the sketch or ECCC...there's already graded copies out.

For the regular were you able to get both Bunn & Jones or just Jones?
