I have a RR 1-5 run with the #1 being a second print. Only 15 looks and not a single offer after two weeks. Not sure why

It is $150 man.

If you break down the individual items that you can buy off ebay

RR#1 2nd print: $60-$70
RR#2 to #5 1st print: $15*4 = $60

Total = $120-#130 (discounting issue 11, which you can pay off cover)

If you do the math, some buyers will think they are better off buying the individual issues, without thinking about the shipping cost.

Also, some folks are just pure speculators so they care only about RR #1. Being that additional $60 for the rest of the issues puts them off.

I think you will get a better if you sell RR1 off separately or lower your price.

My 2 cents

CGC sales of the recent titles are pretty weak but good time to buy for your PC if you are into them.

Five ghosts 9.8 - $45

Another one sold for $50 this morning but I didn't save the link

Helheim 9.8 - $55

East of west 9.8 - $60++

Only Uber is getting above $100 sales.
We will see if this continues once the flood arrives

not sure what's up. i've been doing pretty well on my rr's. sold a set of 1-4 all 1st prints for 150 last week, and 1 and 2 were only in vf cond. due to some spine wear and a small corner crease on the back cover of the #1.

Those spawn sketch homage covers have been selling good for a few months now. You can usually pick them up for like 20 online on release day then flip on the bay for 50+

Yes, and I've actually made the mistake of pre-ordering them as I've been paying $40 for mine only to see them going for $20 day of release on Ebay. The comic market is a weird one, and this is just an example of how it always doesn't work how you think it should.

As expected, prices of Helheim Katie are coming down like a rock.

Helheim Katie

Expect prices to continue to drop until Oni clears their stock.

All due to VERY unsavvy sellers.

well really man. what did people expect. a fluke outlier sale for 85 and you knew everyone was gonna go running to ebay with theirs to list, thinking they struck gold. no surprise here at all. despite what we all think not everyone buying on ebay are morons. why pay double triple when you could get them at oni still.

i tell you what though, there are a few dummies that have these listed at 30 bucks who are gonna be in a world of hurt if/when they get bid on. that is a instant loss. i don't get it. i woulda pulled them already.

Speaking of this variant, why didn't it sell out at oni?
400 copies with most folks getting 2 each, there should be more than 200 fans who will grab it at an instant.

Am I over estimating the Helheim fans out there or is the $20 price point too high for some?

i was wondering and questioning this since whoever it was first posted the thread with the link.

between all the lurkers on here and cgc boards looking for a quick buck i thought for sure this would be a instant sell out.

yet here it is almost a month later and there are still plenty to be had it seems. i am starting to wonder just how many of these were printed.

Print run is accurate. A lot have just been scared of the $20 price tag and rather spend it on something else.

You could still order the black and white sketch variants for issue #1 last week.

I ordered 2 copies of the b&w sketch from them 3 different times, waiting until I received an order until actually placing the next one both times...so they lasted for quite awhile even after that link was shared with the masses.

And since sales for the first issue haven't led to profits speculators have no reason to jump on #2, regardless of how limited it is. Most of the people that jump on these things attempting to flip them have no patience. They grab what they can for cheap and flip it as quick as possible for whatever they can get out of it.

Its because of
1. Oni's past shipping issues have scared a bunch along with the 20 price tag.
2. Oni changed their rules of 2 per customer /address and they will CANCEL multiple orders to the SAME address.

That is why the stock hasn't been depleted, its still a ridiculously small 500 print run on a variant.

The worry here is 1) what if they get tiresome and nobody wants to buy them and 2) what if the homage cover is lack luster?

Exactly, why pay all that $$ when you can just buy it online for half that price? It makes no sense. But neither does the ebb and flows of the market. LOL.

I saw someone brag that he had 2 copies shipped to his house, his parents house and three of his friends house.

So veteran junkies...when a book like Nowhere Men has fallen as much as it has, does it have a chance at making a come back? Do you sell and just get what you can get or hold a bit longer and wait it out? Anything that might cause it to go back up?
