I dont really buy phantoms or ghost variants but i would have to say yes, if they are selling at a fair price. Check prices on ebay first.

Well its not an auction style so you can basically leave them up for sale forever. Amazon takes a bigger chunk of the profits than ebay does and you have to fight everyone else undercutting you by 1 penny. You will chance your price to 5.99 and then ten minutes later another seller has it at 5.98 and so on. Can be quite annoying. Not to mention you have to compete with established sellers that have huge feedback ratings. It took me a year to get 200 feedback and i sell around 1000 books a year.

And no i dont cancel orders, it ruins seller metrics with amazon. They have pretty high standards and if your metrics fall low enough you will no longer be able to sell on amazon.

Oh and the only reason i use amazon is because i banned from using paypal

It's much harder to make a profit selling on Amazon. They take a HUGE chunk of your sale, much larger than Ebay, and I agree with Skel in regards to the customer service demands they put on you as a seller there. As an author, I have always sold my own books on Amazon, and have also listed comics there, but have found the best way outside of doing local shows to sell hot comics is Ebay and locally among fellow collectors, or on the CGC and Blowout boards. Although I have tried many times, I have never been able to sell a graded book on Amazon, the market just is not there for that.

You seem to be doing ok though Indy. IN the shor ttime you have been selling there, you have quite a lot of feedback. Its really hard to get feedback so that tells me that you are either really lucky or selling a lot.

Are you using a professional account by the way? If you sell more than 40 books a month its worthwhile to upgrade to professional because they dont take the extra 1 dollar from each sale. Im sure you know, but its worth mentioning that its much cheaper to buy shipping through amazon than it is if you just go to the post office.

I've been selling on there since the late 90's, although just recently tried comics.

Really liked #2. Plot development. New characters. And continued badassery

You know somebody is badass when they are eating a buffalo leg. Not a buffalo wing. An actual buffalo leg.

My LCS had no copies of #2, other than for subs. Luckily, I have a sub There were a few unhappy folks this morning, knowing that they could not pick up the book. I was baffled why they only ordered 15 copies of the book.

I only bought one copy of #2 and I am starting to regret it. I guess I am headed back to the LCS tomorrow.

I am not a big speculator on purpose but I always forget what I order then end up ordering double, I think I have 10 #2 on the way, in addition to the one I bought at the LCS today.

I guess I need to start selling stuff, I have collected a bunch since I got back into it but have not even attempted to sell anything... I think I have a problem, hehe.

My shop did not have any on the shelf.... All of the pull lists got them.... I did get my one from the pull list, but I also have some more coming from midtown. I would probably like to acquire at lease two more, to make 5 total #2 issues.

I have a bunch coming in, should be 20. just checked. Oh happy days. I told you all not to sleep on #2. Print run is going to be much lower than #1 i expect. Am i being a d9ck and saying so far i have not been wrong this year. Probably but my ego tells me to mention it anyways.

Oh and for those thinking fo selling now. You could and get triple cover price. But in my opinions its too early in the game to sell. Hold on to all your copies.

Viperdays will have plenty to sell online. You can probably get lots of 5 around cover in a week or so.

Has anyone heard from him? He was generous in offering me 5x fp EOW variants at $15 since they cancelled my order, but haven't heard from him in awhile.

Sooooo just reread issue 1, and then finally got my preorders of 2 in and read that. WOW. I absolutely love this book.

You know how when you hear a song for the first time, and instantly know you're listening to a classic? That's the feeling I get reading this book. It really is fantastic. Cannot wait till issue 3 now.
