Default I'm officially pressing now

Been having a brutal semester in grad school so I was laying low and just doing some pressing here and there for people behind the scenes but as of today I will be offering my pressing services.

I offer fast turn around times(under 10 days not including postage time) and I will never inflate shipping charges back to you. I only charge actual shipping charges plus 65 cents for the box(if not using priority).

I also ask that you limit the amount of books you send at a time(5 book max), so I won't get bogged down and can get everyone books back in a timely fashion.

Also if I think your book cannot be helped by pressing I won't charge you for the pressing. But there will be a minimum fee if none of the books cannot be helped by a press.

My fee is $15 flat per book, no matter golden/silver/bronze/copper/modern.

If you need a reference you can ask Indy, DigsUT, Jasonadkins, or see images of my work in various threads on pressing here.

Carr does solid work. I will definitely use his services in the future, no doubt.

Basically it flattens out the book and can help improve imperfections such as creases or wavy pages to increase the grade

This, but a note that pressing cannot fix what are called "color breaking creases" These are the creases on books that have white lines breaking up the continuity of the color where the crease occurs.

Also, I made a very detailed thread about pressing if you wanted more information. Just search under my user id and the word press and you will find it

Looks like you may be my new go to guy. Have used many pressing services, and am now looking for another one. Do you do grade estimates as well as restoration check? Finally can you submit to CGC as well? Thanks.

Actually I can submit to CGC as well. Because I only live 30 minutes drive from them and I drop off and pick up myself which eliminates their outrageous return shipping.

I'm not going to offer grade estimates/restoration checks at this time until I get set up a bit more but look for it in the near future (3-6 months)

Yes Carr is very good. He has submitted things for me, and he has pressed a few for better grades. He knows what he is doing

Wanted to say thanks to those who have been sending me comics to get pressed/submitted. I will be submitting books for grading this week on Friday so if you get them to me in a hurry I can still submit for Modern/Fastrack

Hey car.

I have a sixth gun on the way with a little dinging, Cb & a kind of fold in the corner.

You think it's worth sending to you for a press to get that corner fixed or no?

I can provide pics once it gets here

It's Carr, cause my last name is Carrubba, but I only do it here for boardies, I really don't want to get a ton of business a website would generate because that will lead to turn around times that most places have... upwards of 2 months. I can press and return comics in under a week.

How about Nintendo power magazines?

This is pretty cool. I need to send you something.

Yeah it really pressed well. Let me know how it grades for sure.

My biggest value increase for a press so far was taking an Iron Man 55 from an 8 to a 9.
