Hey guys, also, I saw on the boards that Hack / Slash #1 (volume 2) is the 1st preview of Hoax Hunters. There are 3 different covers of it.

I don't think it'll matter with a movie... TV show sure, but not a movie.

I think most here will buy and flip.
As long as you are the last one holding the bag, it should be fine.

It is definitely not a buy and hold play. Rachel rising at least has a build in fan base but I don't see much people expressing their love for hoax hunters

It does have a Tim Seeley and Hack/Slash fan base built in. It'll be interesting to see where this goes.

I picked up #0-5 a couple of weeks ago for $18 shipped just because I wanted to read it and have the writers (Moreci and Seeley) sign it while at C2E2. Guess I got lucky here.

I was not able to find the #2 print run. If it was under 300 on the list, I believe that means it will be around 4,000 or less. Not completely sure about that though.

well my 0 to 5 turned up ($20) & 1 to 4 ($14), just waiting on another copy of issue 0 now, in the process of flipping right now
Just see an issue 0 go for $40 on ebay UK

Hoax Hunters #0 (1st print, Mint , Peter Panzerfaust, Sixth Gun, Saga) 1,8,9, | eBay

Don't you just love the listings use of names & numbers totally unrelated to the comic!

I get the names and #1 but is there something special about 8 and 9?

well this book should start to drop like a rock any day now. ebay listings are increasing every day as every flipper and noob start to get their orders shipped to them from wherever they ordered online, and now pretty soon the panic and the cut throating will begin as everyone starts try to cash out in mass as ebay floods.

luckily i was able to cash out a #1 for 25.00, and a #0 for 33.00 before the flood. i'm expecting my other #0 and 1 to get me in the low 20's high teens at this point hopefully. if i wasn't being so lazy i could of picked these up and cashed out way earlier and got top dollar, but haven't been feeling like hitting the shops hard lately, oh well.

if you don't believe me just look at recent sales of the test and the activity, cause this is where sales of this are going to be heading real soon.

Wait Hoax Hunters??? RARE TV SHOW WALKING DEAD IRON MAN 3 VILLAIN MOVIE ??? I wish some people flipping comic books would at least know what the hell they are selling and why it is potentially hot. Makes me lol but also pisses me off since I'm sure it doesn't add confidence in the market. Also learn how to write your own ebay auctions and take your own pictures of your own comic books. It confuses buyers.

Yeah, the whole market is becoming a bit of a joke; no offense to those here that actually know what they are doing.

One positive thing that's come of this for me at least is that it brings some pretty good lesser known titles to my attention. I've got my copy of Hoax Hunters 0 and 1 in and have the rest of the series ordered (all at cover or lower) and am hoping they will be a good read.
