Default New Computer

Ok so the old system kinda fried..so I just got done building an i7 with 16 gb mem and a nice 5770 dual cards..I made it into a media center hub also, able to run on the tv in hdmi with optical out..I downloaded a proggy free called xbmc, used to use it on the first xbox as a media center. It gave me access to over 5000 live usa and international streaming channels, abc, bbc, and more. But the best I have found, is one server has all the old TV series ever made..I am spending Fri night watching The Flash..If you want info let me know..Its all free and legal

this read in my head like Charlie Brown's teacher. I'm not very good with computers. I know the necessities and that's about it

xbmc is awesome! My bedroom and living room share a wall and I have my PC set up in my bedroom. I ran HDMI and USB through the wall into the living room and run my PC in there with a wireless keyboard with built in touchpad; it works really slick.

Sounds like you built a solid system. Hope you put in solid state drives; I found those to improve overall system performance quite a bit. Especially boot time!
