Default The 2nd Annual Las Vegas Comic Book Expo on Sept 28-29 (Sat-Sun)2013

Last year's inaugural LVCE convention was well attended and well received, so The Las Vegas Comic Expo just announced their dates (09/28/13 - 09/29/13) and location (returning to The Riviera Casino & Hotel) for 2013 this year, for updates (which should occur frequently, but just posted a "save the date" message initially right now), visit the official LVCE website:

Las Vegas Comic Expo

It's held on:

Sept 28, 2013 (Saturday) 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

Sept 29, 2013 (Sunday) 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

at:

Riviera Casino & Hotel
2901 Las Vegas Blvd. South
Las Vegas, NV

The details of the artist and celebrity guest list, programming, exhibitors/vendors, and everything else should be forthcoming (just keep checking the site and/or the message boards and their social media updates), being that the show is roughly 5 months away, I know the show organizer is working diligently on it now, and is listening to feedback and requests for this as well as next and forthcoming years, so feel free to contact him @ this link:

Contact | Las Vegas Comic Expo

The 2012 show, last year had over 50 guests from A to Z... from Jay Antacleto to Chrissie Zulo, and so many celebrity guests in between, including Eric Basaldua, Joe Benitez, Simon Bisley, Tim Bradstreet, Mark Brooks, J. Scott Campbell, Mike Debalfo, Ale Garza, Adam Hughes, J.G. Jones, Bob Layton, Iain McCaig, Mike Mignola, Marat Mychaels, Brian Pulido, Stephane Roux, Len Wein, and Battlestar Galactica's TRICIA HELFER too!

PLUS - - for those who collect SKETCH CARDS there were a lot of those professional artists like Patrick Finch, who appeared and were doing commissions at the show for original art sketch cards too!

The 2013 LVCE show should be a show stopper worth coming out to Las Vegas for on September 28 - 29...

The Promoter stopped by my shop on FCBD. I'll be doing this show as well as the Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con at the South Point in mid June. Extremely excited for both shows, they will be a great way for the Vegas comic community to be introduced to StripSide Comics and Sportscards. Last year's show at the Riviera really got me hooked on comics and was certainly a big catalyst for me opening my own shop.

Jason - - Congratulations on opening up your shop! I'm sure Charles, the organizer behind The Las Vegas Comic Expo would love to help you promote StripSide Comics and Sportscards and appreciates you helping promote his show as well.

I've mentioned to him opening up the Las Vegas Comic Expo, beyond being a comic show for the logical hobby collecting extension of vendors who offer sports, gaming and non-sports cards, for which you'd be a great ambassador representing that fraction of the hobby at his show the 2013 LVCE in September.

His show, The Las Vegas Comic Expo already has cross-hobby appeal with comic books, original art, sketch cards, sci-fi / fantasy, figures/toys, cosplay and gaming, and lots of things that are pop culture geek chic.

I look forward to visiting your shop when in Vegas!!!
