Default orion7950: Pick-ups & mail 5/8-5/14

First stop, comic shop on my way to work...

Love the SW#5 cover classic..

A back issue of GoT, Chin Music #1, SW #5, TWD #110, and X #1. Got there too late for Über #1, they were already out, and didn't see 12 Reasons to Die, either.

Had this waiting for me when I got home ($7.15 DLVD!!!)..

2 Guns 1B, 2B, 3A and 4.. Have not been able to find #5 anywhere. Does it exist?
1B has a couple minor spine stresses, and 4 looks like it has a chip by the top staple (after looking at another image online, it turns out it's just part of the graphic). Other than that, these issues are in immaculate shape. Not sure about the insides yet, lol. BOOM

The KC variants are in great condition, they were packed very well. All bagged, boarded, in bubble envelopes and boxed. I'm not claiming to be a grading expert, but I'd say one is a 9.8, the other a 9.6(?) due to a small flaw

How much does that knock it down?
Sorry for the crappy pic.. cell phone camera

that is a bindery tear and it shouldn't affect the grade.

Got my FCBD haul from Midtown today. Ten issues stuffed into a rigid mailer. Kinda disappointed, but they were "free" so, whatever..

First, the three Midtown "exclusives"..

Then there's 2000 AD, Bleeding Cool, Mermaids, Sesame Street, The Strangers and Archie Digest

Finally, the book that suffered the most damage (perhaps a pressing candidate), Aphrodite IX

For anyone who missed the Polarity thread, BOOM Studios sent me issue 1 replacements including two copies of the sold out 1A cover and a bonus $10 1B cover.

That concludes the pick-ups for this week, kind of a slow week, still waiting on the FCBD order from Graham Crackers and some Ten Grands from Forbidden Planet. Also have a couple eBay buys en route.
