This book will not be overlooked for much longer, and those rising prices are showing it. Matt Hawkins now has his foot in the door in Hollywood, hard to imagine Think Tank (his best writing) not getting optioned and then made into a show at some point, even if it is 5 years down the road.

If you are a lurker reading this post right now, do yourself a favor and buy the first TPB of this series. You will be instantly hooked, and the other-worldly-amazing thing is that the second story-arc is even more brilliant. Matt Hawkins amazes me with his brilliance, and then cracks me up with random wit. Saga is my second favorite comic on the planet right now, with Thanos Rising #3, but they are legions beyond the writing of Think Tank right now.
+1 What he said.

picked up a copy of issue 1 on all of yours recommendations (if it's as good as everyone says I not sure how I missed this one, guess so many comics to read each week I must of let this pass me by).
Just waiting on it to arrive in the post

I just finished issue #7, the writing is getting better, and things are escalating quickly. I like that the story-archs are 4 issues each, and apparently the third arch will be focused in China and North Korea. Can't wait.

+1 Hopefully sales pick up so it's not the last arc...

Matt Hawkins told me he loves writing this series way too much, but that was before he signed on for two movie projects, so hopefully it keeps going.

If anybody missed out on the #7 variant, there is a fair priced one on eBay right now. I've seen one go for $150 and around $100 recently.

Top Cow made an error with my order. I only ordered one for PC. I guess the person shipping just read "limit 2 per customer." Because I sure got 2 copies in the mail. It did take over 3 weeks to show up, so I don't feel too bad about it, but they are both beautiful. No doubt they are at least 9.8s.

I talked to Matt Hawkins about Think Tank on Saturday. He said the third story arch will be his most fun writing for the series yet. David Lauren will be in the field with a Special Ops team in China as an observer, but of course things will go awry and he will get involved. Matt likened it to Ellen Ripley in Alien, where she is just supposed to be an expert in the field, but not a combatant.

I can't freaking wait. As of right now he and Rashan Ekedal haven't finalized anything to go past issue 12, but Matt said that Think Tank is his baby, and he is going to fight and claw to make it happen and keep the series going.

Hey guys,

I think some news might break soon regarding this title. It's been brewing...sounds like it might go public.

Just an FYI...

Just to show my trust in Chalado here, I just went out and bought some #1's, you know, Just in Case as I had already sold off my previous copies and don't want to be caught WITH MY PANTS DOWN! when these things shoot up in price. Big news could be right around the corner on this book and it IS a great read. I think I have an idea of what this news is, and I'm on board.. don't miss the train on this one folks.. It's a TOUGH book to find as it is, and big news will dry up supply fast.

Welp...it's out. Feature film in development, per Matt Hawkins.
