Default Think Tank info

Apparently - folks have been doing a little social network stalking of Matt Hawkins (Think Tank) - the other day he was at Alcon Entertainment.

https://mobile.twitter.com/topcowmatt

Alcon were the company who just optioned Rachel Rising...

2 + 2 = 4 ?

Or is it reaching to think he might be shopping it around

Who bought the option for the other smaller series that Top Cow had recently? Think Tank is the best comic on the planet right now IMO, just not your traditional comic (more like reading Tom Clancy or Robert Ludlum). Think Tank is written amazingly, it would kill it as a show.

I noticed a tweet that mentioned the Sixth Gun pilot not going forward. Time to dump those? I dont have any on hand, but that bubble may burst soon

Think tank is probably one of the most under rated books out right now. I've never heard a single person say they dislike it. I know a lot of bunkers feel this way about the book too. Sad it holds no real speculative value atm, but if you have not read this, do it now. Word of mouth will help this book. It's A+ writing, compelling characters, and science class at the end of every book is awesome. If you havnt checked this out. Make it a priority. You can still find issues for under cover too.

Am I the only one that can't wait for this upcoming Wednesday?

Product Details: Think Tank #7

I didn't think that it was possible, but the second story arc is even better than the first. Matt Hawkins is extremely easy to talk to and accessible at the Cons I've seen him at, Dude is a genius!

I STILL have #2 missing from my Think Tank set so I haven't read the series but it's near the top of my list of "to-read" books.

Grab the TPB off Amazon, only $10 or so. Protects your real copies from reading damage too!

That is good advice, but I've never cared for TPBs. There is just something different to me about reading the actual comic. Same reason I don't read digital comics.

I did make an exception for the Walking Dead though, that series is a little too pricey to for me to pick up!

I don't believe the Science Class section is in the TPB. I could be wrong. One of the great things about reading it monthly is the Science Class installment. Really great stuff. Matt Hawkins is a genius.

Thanks for the offer Zombie! I actually did a little online shopping tonight at comiccollectorlive.com and picked up a copy. I really do appreciate the gesture though. Good looking out!

Don't know. It might, since it was at a convention where the artist was present.

Btw. Any one notice the price increase on these lately?

Time was you could score the #1 variant for $33 in a 9.8 slab.

Now they have em up @ $100+

Well it is the best written comic on the planet today, except it's not exactly comic-booky. It's more Tom Clancy-Clear and Present Danger type writing than it is Superhero, so it gets overlooked because it should be a brilliant novel series rather than a comic book series. This book will not be overlooked for much longer, and those rising prices are showing it. Matt Hawkins now has his foot in the door in Hollywood, hard to imagine Think Tank (his best writing) not getting optioned and then made into a show at some point, even if it is 5 years down the road.

If you are a lurker reading this post right now, do yourself a favor and buy the first TPB of this series. You will be instantly hooked, and the other-worldly-amazing thing is that the second story-arc is even more brilliant. Matt Hawkins amazes me with his brilliance, and then cracks me up with random wit. Saga is my second favorite comic on the planet right now, with Thanos Rising #3, but they are legions beyond the writing of Think Tank right now.
