Default Chalado's "Hey I bought some comics" Thread

I don't usually do this, but this past week has been crazy, so I figured I'd share.

I should be in jail for the prices I got on almost all of these.

Enjoy!

Sweet! Darkhawk was my favorite book back in the day. Is he coming back? (is he already back...guess I should know this)

He was mine as well. He's in Avengers Arena and he was in War of Kings which might play a role in the GOTG movie.

I just really liked him and wanted as many high grade copies as possible.

$0.50 a piece doesn't hurt making that a reality either.

I think it will. For the amount I paid on those, I'm not going to be losing any money. Nowhere to go but up.

Haha. Best part is, they were all half price of what they went for back then. I think the book has a chance to be considered a Copper key someday. It's no New Teen Titans #2, Miracleman #15, or NM 87 & 98, but it could join them a some point.

I was hunting down 361s back then. I have no idea where they went. I think my little brother sold them off when I was in college.

I wish I knew. It looks like some crazy stuff is going to go on this summer with the spidey books.

Were you the guy who won the Todd 9.8 for under $40? I'd love to get one of those for my PC.

Nope, but I know what auction you are talking about. I grabbed mine a day or two before for around $60

I wasn't aware of the Darkhawk speculation, very cool to see he may be making a comeback.

I had Mike Manley do a Darkhawk sketch at a con a few years back, now I need to dig it out.

I hope Marvel can get him out of Arena and use him right. No Major speculation right now. I really dig him and have found that a lot of people do too. Who knows what that nostalgia will translate to someday, but I'll gladly buy NM #1's for $0.50 any day.
