Default Hopefully some good news for kyleg, good packaging material!

Check out this packing material! I think this will take care of the slab issue. But it is expensive. But if the people really want the slab. Charge them for the packing material at cost. If they are cheap, then you can't be held libel for the damage.

LOL, I did say it's expensive but if kyleg has all of these complaints, I would use that but I would ask for money up front to buy it so he is not out of anything. I agree it is a lot of money, but if you want maximum security it will cost you maximum money. I have some buyers that act like this to me (not on this board) and I tell them, put some money in my account. Once money is in hand , then the items will be sent there and in pristine condition. Some comic buyers on the net want to act like they are an heir to royalty (you guys know the types) ........ fine. Then I will charge you accordingly.....

who's going to pay 100 bucks for shipping? he would never get the opportunity to ask for money up front because people would be too busy laughing hysterically as they scrolled right past his auctions. no one in their right mind is going to even click on a comic book auction with a 100.00 shipping price tag.

Depends on the book Burt........
If I am buying a book that I spent $2,000.00 on. or say something like this
Silver Surfer 1 CGC 9 6 NM Origin 1968 Marvel 1st Tales of Watcher John Buscema | eBay
Would I really mind $100.00 to ship......... ah......... no.

I once bought a Silver Surfer #3, 9.0 cgc SS by Stan Lee to give to my father. I spent some cash on it and even paid $40.00 to ship, because I wanted no harm to come to the comic or slab and having to have my father go through the process to replace the cgc slab and then wait for cgc to ship it out (which we all know takes forever!)

We are talking about cardboard and sponge material, right?!?!

What's the pink stuff made of? (test foam)

I love how they made the description all technical and sophisticated. =)

Polyurethane chemical composition is different from regular foam. It's harder and better shock absorber.
