IT has been a year since doc ock took over,
after all the #@#@#@#@#@#@in and moaning
are you happy they did?
and how much longer do you want him to last ?

This is one of my favorite books. I was never against it happening though.

I love the direction it has been going. Honestly I had always hated Parker's pacifism.

It has been absolutely incredible; kudos to Dan Slott for creating such blasphemy. I'd like to see it go on maybe two more years, and then have Doctor Strange somehow find Peter Parker's consciousness and bring him back. For now, I'm loving every issue.

This is my favorite read each month. So I hope the story linked isn't true.

I don't read spider-man but was a fan as a kid. What would make sense to me is to bring back Peter Parker and the old title Amazing Spider-man because the sequel movie has the same name. What a novel idea for marvel to actually make some sense with a title project and a movie with the same title. However marvel hasn't been consistent for a long time, unless you could renumbering back to 1 every 6-10 months.

I hated it too. Id like to see a bigger role for Kaine continue and somehow bringing back Ben Reilly, but I think that might be hard to do apparently was it was in the works for awhile. I am not up to date on Spider-man though in the last few months.

OH! and the best variants ! by far! whether it be Campbell or all the Spiderman 2099 variants, this series is knocking it out of the park.

Did you read the storyline with the Vulture, which I think was in the first Trade? Brilliant writing when Doc Ock beat up a few of the Vulture's minions, which he thought were midgets, but turned out to be kids. Doc Ock flashed back to his childhood and his father beating him, and then proceeded to absolutely lose it on the Vulture. To me, that was the early defining moment in the series that had me captivated, seeing Doc Ock try to make things right in the world against one of his old friends from the Sinister Six. That showed that there was a new Spidey in town, and I've loved it ever since.

That was a defining moment for me as well.
