Red face Suggestions for where to start?

Hi all! I was hoping any experienced comic book readers here might be able to suggest which comics would be a good place to start if I were interested in reading scarlet witch based stories. I know her first appearance was quite a long time ago so there's probably been a lot of material with her in it since then. I don't think I want to start quite that far back at the moment. I'd be more interested in checking out some of the stories that she plays a fairly prominent role in and I see there's quite a few "vision and scarlet witch" ones but I think if there's anything before they got together or perhaps something even a lot more recent that is recommended, that'd be great. I don't have a lot of experience reading comic books. It's something I'm getting more into as an adult!

Any help would be great!

Cheers

If you haven't already done so already, I'd suggest going to her Wikipedia page and reading through it. That will give you tons of background info and the different story arcs she is involved in.

As to what story arcs of hers are good reads, I can't really help you out there as my Avengers knowledge is very limited.

Agree on House of M. She really did a number on the Marvel universe there.

To know why House of M happened, maybe you should read Avengers:disassembled first.
Also Avengers West Coast 42 through 57.
