With the possible exception of "flip it immediately" books. We'll call it book X. Let's say book X is coming out with a lot of hype and variants and all the regularly hoopla. Now you know ebay will be flooded with graded CGC copies shortly after release. If you can use this company and it's shorter turnaround times to get their books onto ebay before other sellers can get cgc books on there, you might do really well in that case.

I'll take a wait and see approach.

BTW completely random thought but since I used the bgs/psa comparison earlier, think any company will ever offer a set registry for comicbooks? It'd be insane and I don't know how many people would be interested but since for them it's really just maintaining a database it might encourage people to grade books that otherwise would never be graded.
I'm a Collector, not a Flipper...

Well then use the service who's cases you like the most. Uniformity is nice and makes it easier to display things. Makes for a more striking visual impact as well.

I thought this was a nice touch.

BACKSIDE VIEW OF LABEL

"At our discretion, we will be using the back of the label for extra information about the comic book that we can’t fit onto the front. In the case of the sample shown, we have listed some story titles that are contained in this book. On rare occasions, we may use some of the space to show additional restoration notes, conservation notes, and/or signatures that might not fit on the front of the label.

Now the cherry on top! On the right side you’ll notice we have a QR Code. You will be able to scan the code with your smart phone and you’ll be taken directly to all the data and information about the book…Including the FREE Grader’s Notes, instantly available to you AT ANY TIME!"

wow....that might be a gamebreaker right there.

Their prices are better and if the service, or turnaround, is better, CBCS might be the one to go with, especially with vintage books where grades are tough already due to age.

No, not Silver, those are just stand in graphics. The slabs are clear like CGC.

They need to hurry up and start taking regular submissions. I have a whole box of books that I want graded and I don't want to wait too much longer.
