Bizarre story...it will be interesting to see how this all plays out in the coming years. I don't see Marvel/Disney getting the film rights back like ever, unless they backed up a cosmic sized brinks truck to 20th Century FOX, and even then it probably wouldn't happen, since superhero properties are such a valuable commodity now.

So, I think I need to buy those FF Omnibuses now, since they probably won't make any more of them...

Wow!

The Kree and the The Inhumans are associated with The Fantastic Four. The Kree and Ronan are making their movie debut in GOTG.

I wonder how they are gonna go forward after the movie.

Fox doesn't own the rights to kree, Inhumans or Ronan. Marvel does. The characters Marvel is making disappear are characters whose movie rights are owned by Fox.

So if marvel pulls this off , where would you re-locate the members of ff?

And
if you could who would you put as the all new ff (shades of ff347)?

Does
sony just own the name ff and/or the characters too ?

I understand that, but the article made it seam the controlling share holder is taking this personally and doesn't want to promote any characters associated with the FF. That list had the Skrulls on it.. The Kree and Inhumans could be considered supporting characters as well. It doesn't mean they won't appear in the Marvel Universe, just not highly promoted. I'm not saying it would happen, just saying it could.

He has nothing against Fantastic Four. His issue is with Fox. Fox was bitter about Marvel swooping in and grabbing the Daredevil rights back, right before Fox was about to move forward with a trilogy. Fox countered by not giving up the Silver Surfer and Galactus rights. This is his way of ensuring that Marvel is not giving Fox "free publicity" by publishing FF comics that do not sell. The X-Men are too popular to pull this move, at the moment. Could it happen at some point? Sure...

There is no love lost between the two companies.

Default No more FF sketch cards?

It seems kinda silly.
Are there that many collectors seeking out new sketch cards of Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben?
Pretty sure there are even less collecting sketch cards of Dr. Doom, Galactus, Silver Surfer, The Watcher, and Skrulls.
Maybe this lack of new supply will help sell some older sketch cards of those characters

Not sure about sketch cards, but I'm glad I had a great local artist Sig Henriquez (writer/artist for Germz Comics series) do this Thing sketch for me:

Maybe hints of it has started with "No more mutants" and the rise of importance of the Inhumans and their Terrigen Mist in making new characters with powers.

Could Wolverine's "3 Months to Die" storyline this summer be start of something more?

Here's another article that sheds some additional light on the situation and possibly where Ike is coming from.

Maybe...Marvel has attempted to put the kibosh any new mutants (x-men characters) being created, lately.

Go ahead and buy them all up........ Puleeze. Fantastic four, inhumans, kree/skrull does not sell. Too bad, doctor doom one of the best villains of all time and stan lee (nuff said). Silver surfer appearances are the only thing saving the original title.
