Default Best investment right now; Harley Quinn #1 2nd, 3rd, 4th Prints?

Just checked the numbers;

Harley Quinn #1 1st Print over 92,000 produced

Harley Quinn #1 2nd Print just over 5600 produced
Harley Quinn #1 3rd Print just over 3000 produced
Harley Quinn #1 4th Print comes out this week and is a sketch Variant of the 1st Print (no production numbers yet)

If you can find any of these, I think they will be strong sellers down the line, especially if she plays a big role in Arrow and/or eventually gets introduced into the movies. Heck, if she gets a spin-off TV show and becomes more popular than Buffy was, fuhgetaboudit.

The 1st Print of #1 was at 92,000 made, so these multiple printings are at small fractions of production and have a ton of potential IMO. Each cover is legitimately unique and not just a slightly different shade of the original cover's artwork. I don't think there's a chance on planet earth that you can buy them for $2.99 plus tax and not get at least that back in two years.

Just my opinion; anyone else?

If you can find it for $2.99, I would suggest you buy it as well.

Even if she never appears in a TV show or Movie (which is impossible), Harley Quinn is the #1 most asked about character at Comic Cons from my own eyes (Deadpool is #2, Batman #3). Lock up everything you can of Harley #1's at cover IMO. Not sure how #0 will react in the future, it was a very, very weird issue with the multiple artists and breaking the Fourth Wall.

Not sure what else is left to the imagination:

I agree. I have always encouraged Junkies to buy Harley. Profit margin may not be huge on modern books now, but she is a consistent seller and gains value over time. She has a proven track record and is only gaining new fans, and that's without any TV or movie property promoting her. Just imagine what sales could be like if she does come to TV/Movies? You'll wish you had some then. I agree with the wise Jason, buy some and stick them away and wait. I have no problem selling her books now and only see a brighter future for them, so I have a small stash of my own that I am holding on to.

The fourth print of #1 is a great book to buy. Look at the 4th print of Action Comics #1. Granted its Jim Lee, but that book sells for anywhere from 30 to 50 dollars online and it is rarely listed.

Stardark also speaketh the truth. Get some 4th prints before it sells out, print run could be tiny

I would just buy to sell right now as the prices are crazy but this has happened before like with Deadpool and Punisher. I would say that over time only the FA really becomes truly collectable and valuable and HQ has had what now 3 series #1's? I don't know why this #1 is more collectible than the others

Print run, my fellow junkie, print run. Most if her other issues don't have a print run that small.

Also if we are basing hotness of characters off of Cosplay popularity wouldn't Power Girl be the winner??

C M Puck said it best. Everyone digs crazy chicks. Now he's engaged to the chick he was referring to: A J Lee. I think she based some of her antics and outfits on Harley. She's into comics too.

Just a note, it took a few weeks, but #1 4th Print is now sold out at Diamond, and #7 Bombshells Variant is also sold out. Neither has gone crazy in value yet, but in a year or so these two both might be $15+ books. All Bombshell Variants have been hot at Comic Cons and my shop, so if you can pick up Harley #7 at cover price I think it would be a great buy.
