Starting a new thread for the break. Please do not post in it until I give the go ahead tomorrow.

I opened a case today and I have to say with the player selection I got I was very pleased. out of the 6 boxes I got 6 different Jeter jersey cards, 7 Griffey Jr, 7 Pujols, hall of famers like Gwynn, Boggs, Nolan Ryan, Schmidt and a Jeter button card. Tons of Yankees and Redsox cards and the 6 and 8 piece jersey cards are nice and they come with a COA. Good Luck

As of right now it looks like gregsta and sammyw will get the 2 base slots (gregsta for sure).

So you lucked out this time

Sorry if I didn't make it clear which slots would get the base cards, but I figured it would be obvious if there was 1 base per 3 boxes (1 slot and first slot after the first 3 boxes).

does anyone know how the base cards are, and if there are any numbered ones?

I think the only cards that are numbered are the "special" memorabilia cards such as the logo patch/jersey tag/jersey button cards. I opened some packs at my local shop and the 6 and 8 swatch cards I got weren't numbered.

I'm not in the break, but I'm hoping someone pulls something really nice. A presidential cut signature (which I'm hoping would be numbered) would be great

the cards look great but no parallels of the base set (i have been so sick of parallels lately).

it truly is a great looking set. and may be the first set i buy as a completed set because there is no way i will collate one.
