Im good for wed night, i mean, works out good for me (i know i dont speak for everyone). Is what it is, not a big deal. Pretty sure a lot of people who need to be up for work @ 5-7am for day jobs wouldnt exactly want to be doing it until 1am, lol.

Yeah 11pm is getting a little late for people that work. After all this is a hobby, and if it wasnt for our regular jobs (most of us) we wouldnt be busting anything at all. Wed is actually better for me as well. Although, I would appreciate not starting any earlier than 9pm even 9:15 if 15 minutes doesnt matter to everyone else. I actually wont get home till 915pm. Sooooooooo........... UPS didn't deliver the cards yet again. On the website it said that bad weather conditions had prevented the delivery, which isn't accurate in terms of current conditions because all of the snow is pretty much gone. I just talked to a UPS customer service rep who said it's actually the weather conditions from last week because they've still been catching up on things that were supposed to be delivered last Monday through Thursday before they get to the stuff from Friday. Supposedly, they're up to the last Friday stuff now and our shipment is scheduled to "resume" tomorrow. Also, I can't schedule a pickup unless there's been 1 attempted delivery. So honestly, I don't know when we're going to get our stuff and I'm pretty pissed about it. I apologize that this is taking so long.

You need to go do some serious ball kicking. Then lobby your state to invest in at least the bare minimum of snow removal/salting equipment, because....as we have seen the past few years...good snows are popping up in unusual places.

It's just funny to me from Michigan, cuz up here its obviously a yearly thing. Get snow, tons of trucks out, huge business of independent snow contractors doing side streets, driveways, salting, etc etc. I am sure if I moved somewhere "warm", and it snowed like that, I would be out doing donuts while people are driving 30mph under the limit in horror. But then again, we have people here who do that and its just ridiculous.

I'll admit that the ice down here was really bad Tuesday night and Wednesday night. It's really just no one was prepared to deal with snow, including the state it seems.

Thats not true man. If you have the tracking info and you talk to someone in your local UPS they can hold it off regardless. I do this ALL the time. I work at the hospital next to the UPS warehouse and even pick up my packages there the same day they are scheduled for delivery the first time. So that it doesnt sit on my front porch all day.

The numbers usually arent listed, and you only have contact information to the 1 800 number. This stuff happens occasionally, thats why i mentioned it before. The people you speak to when you contact UPS is not the actual person working at your local branch, i assure you!

Yeah I figured the 800 wasn't the local branch but I wanted to talk to someone just to see if they had any other info other than "bad weather conditions". I'm just going by what she told me. I have to work from 8 to 4:30 tomorrow anyway and the town that it's in right now is about an hour away from where I work, so I'd rather not have to make that drive if I don't have to.

Yeah i just meant once its at your branch! i order cases and work long hours, as does my wife. if i waited for someone to be able to sign for it it would be a week before they would catch any of us. And at the same rate, when i have smaller orders, id rather drive 2 minutes and pick it up instead of leaving it sitting in front of my garage ALL day. If you can feel me!

Ah, I see what you're saying. I'm lucky that my girlfriend is usually here to sign for my stuff when I'm at work since she stays home with our son.

When i was in college i loaded the trucks in the mornings, like 2-6am. It was 11 bucks an hour and great benefits. The hours sucked though. lol.

Im ready too man. Like i said, if your local branch isnt out of your way, it would behoove you to run by there with your tracking info tomorrow and ask about the package. Then if its there you can sign for it, or if not, you will be able to "schedule" a pickup for thursday, ON YOUR TIME.

i agree to a point, but if its actually out for delivery as they "say it will be...again" and he goes the hour to where it is as a he said....that blows. lol. So at this point its like ur damned if u do damned if u dont.

Chill out, nobody is upset dude. Just making suggestions. If there's a kink somewhere in the delivery process sometimes it's just easier to "pick it up yourself" and be done with it. Nobodies gonna take an oozie to work Thursday if we don't do it tomorrow!!
