What was the deadline for payments? Any idea when you might start the draft? I just want to make sure I'm around for it.

i didnt really set a deadline for payments, seeing as everyone has paid pretty quickly.

I did get a response from 49erFan and he said hed have funds by Wed/Thurs. As well as DCN. So that only leaves the first 2 slots that were taken by gbrew. he doesnt have many posts and doesnt look like hes on muc, but i will send a follow up pm.

i want to ask the other members first, but after i receive payments from DCN and 49erFan later this week...if i still havent heard from gbreww, does anyone want any extra slots? or, and this is a BIG IF...IF its ok with you guys and IF its okd by a MOD...would you be against me taking the hit and taking over his slots??

let me follow that up with-I wouldnt be involved in the randoming process. The paid members would be randomed as planned, and i would simply fill in the 31 and 32 slots automatically..so basically id get the last 2 teams not "drafted". I know that hosts arent suppose to be involved in the break, but id hate to see this be put on hold or even cancelled just due to this.

Hopefully he will respond and it wont come to that, just wanted to get opinions on what to do.

Heck I thought I was holding things up! I guess not how much more time are we allowing? I know you said by Wed or Thursday so I guess is Friday the cut off, and will the back ups be ready to pay so we can draft? Just anxious.

Original post has been updated with back up slots in case i dont get a response.

Right now we are looking at Friday for deadline.

Unfortunately, as far as the break goes, it has been brought to my attention- as a post in the Football section and now posted on Blowouts site- that the release has been moved form May 13 to May 25.

Good news is, that gives plenty of time for the draft and trades...bad news is still have a month til release instead of next week...

Now I don't want to get off on a rant here, but people who sign up for group break slots and then back out after payments have been accepted by the host should get a negative iTrader rating. If you are not willing to pay for the slots, don't request them. How difficult of a concept is that?
