Default Hits??

Ok the question was brought up to me, about the non-auto, parallels of the rookies. Whether they would be considered "hits", or part of the base lots. Its you guys break, so its up to you, but in my opinion, they would be extra "hits" as with any extra autos, etc. The base I seperated into teams slots just as a bonus, so I didnt get stuck with 2 cases of base cards. There have been trades for those base already, whom might not have traded if rookies were included.

Again it is up to the majority here, it is your guys break, not mine. I am just lucky enough to get to rip it!!

I would say extra hits, more fun.

As always though, I will go with the majority

I had assumed rookies were included in them since they were non-auto'd I didn't count them as hits, but thats just me

I'm fine either way but I will not trade away my Falcons if I know that I get the Ryan and it's not a hit lol

Default My assumption...

was that any base/base parallels would be in the team lots. That would include rookies to me. Frankly I don't care much about the base but I think any rookies should be in those lots.

To pull them out just makes another layer of things to give away but also diminishes the base lots. A numbered Ryan or Flacco rookie would fall into that "base lot" category to me. Especially since they weren't defined earlier as being more special.

We've already defined the hits, why start quibbling now.

IMHO,
Vinny

I think that non-auto rookies should be included in the base lots. They aren't any of the top rookies anyway. If you check out the checklist the non-auto rookies are usually 5-7th rounders and undrafted rookies....

I assumed that they were part of the base lot since it hadn't been specified as one of the hits...that may have been a bad assumption though.

Agreed!!! Thats my stance. I wasn't looking at base lots and not thinking rookies. Rob

I think I'm with the majority here...the non-auto rookies should just go to the base slots.

Pretty sure we've done it that way before....I think, the LCM break is the one I'm thinking of.

Sounds like the majority want it that way. If anyone "learning" this objects to the trades they have already made, please let me know so the slots can be sorted out. Thanks

Not in the break but in reading this it looks like som people are under the impression that those non autod rookies could be big rookies like Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco. If this is like last year the only non autod rookies/parallels would be basic scrub rookies and not big names. The Ryan parallels would still be patch autos just different numbering.

Non auto Rookies should be included in the base lots. I don't feel that they are worthy of hits in this product.

If anyone wants to get rid of the Seahawks... I have the 49ers in case 2. Probably no one wants them, but I thought I would try.

How do these breaks work? You just pick a team and get whatever cards come from the break? Sorry just very new to this.

There are a few different ways a Group Case Break can be run.

1. Team break. You get every card that has your team's uniform on it. Dual cards w/ 2 teams gets randomized between the 2 team holders. If you get a team and no cards have your team uniform on it? Then you get skunked...

2. Slot break. You purchase a slot, the total list gets randomized and you get whatever is issued to your slot. Could be a patch, could be an auto, could be base cards. Depends on the product.

3. HIT break. Just the "hits" are given away. You purchase a "slot" and like #2 above, the "slot" list gets randomized and and you get your "hit" as it is revealed during the break.
