For the discussion part: I think if Blowout typically limits the number of cases available they would be more likely to make an exception if the cases are locked in early. I don't recall ever hearing dealers being limited on BDPP so I hope Blowout would make an exception here to satisfy this madness

Yep, we accept anyone who breaks 4 bones in his face in the 3rd inning and still plays the rest of the game!

I should hear from Chris on Monday. I am not sure I want to do another 10 cases... but we could think about a 5 case break for AFTER all the cards from the 10 case break are DELIVERED!

I'd be willing to do a 10 case but with the stipulation that only chrome and up will be sorted and given to the player slots and the base will be randomed between everyone by the box. I just don't have the time to sort all that base but I can handle the 5000 or so chrome and up stuff I'd generate.

So I have a suggestion. Since there is a HUGE potential for a single lot to have a crap load of cards, why not split them in half? So player BDP1 (Case 1 -5) and BDP (Case 6-10). By doing this, 2 people can get cards of the same player, it adds more slots, brings down the slot prices and 1 person doesn't get a bajillion cards. The only hard part is making the draft larger, but you are a pro at this now. What's another 220 slots.

Just throwing that out there.

I think this is actually one of the appeals of this break. A large chance for obtaining a wide variety of cards from the players obtained with your picks.

I agree, but 5 cases worth is still a pretty wide variety of cards. Considering it's a 10 case break and the slots filled in no time, with lots of people asking to be a part of this break, I just think it makes sense to add more slots and reduce the price. I don't know the exact breakdown, but I'm assuming it's:

$7000 for 10 cases
$26.66 per slot (not including shipping and handling)

Comes out to 260 something slots. If we add another 220, it breaks down to roughly $15 per slot + Shipping and Handling. This is also in line with the "Cheap Fun Break". $15 for 60 (base, chrome, parallels) of a player. That's still a really good price.

I'm good either way. I just noticed there's quite of few people that want in on this break, but probably won't make it.

You make a good point. However, the goal is 10 cases of your player - especially the auto slots.

A 5 case player draft is awesome!

... a 10 case player draft is awesome-er!
