Question Help pick the next CFB (CFB XI) - Poll & Discussion (voting for multiple is ok)

Ok, so the Finest break was pushed back a few more weeks which gives us over a month with no break...

So, help me pick the next break.

There are lots of ideas:

1. Another Baseball & Football Platinum Break - great value at $19
2. Another 2010 Bowman Draft BDPP Player Draft - 5 or 10 cases
3. A 2011 Finest Football Team Break - Team or Random
4. A 2011 Topps Chrome Baseball Team Break - Team or Random.
5. BOTH Topps Chrome Baseball & Finest Football Team Break Draft.
6. A 2011 Topps Chrome Baseball Player Draft - 5 or 10 cases. <--- due to auto checklist I want this one!
7. A 2011 Topps Tribute card draft (all 240 cards drafted) under $20.
8. A 2010 Topps Triple Threads card draft - every card is a spot.
9. Tribute and TTT in one break (draft/team/card/whatever).

Or, give me another idea...

It has to be something that is available now (or at least soon). CFB 9 should ship Tuesday and be delivered by Thursday/Friday. So I would like to put this break in for approval on Friday evening (after everything is delivered).

It can be large or small. I do not like going too expensive, but if you want something high end, we can.

2011 Topps Tribute card draft (all 240 cards drafted) under $20
Another Baseball & Football Platinum Break - great value at $19

I wouldn't mind a random!

Depending on cost for the 2011 Chrome player or team draft, I'd be interested in those.

More in favor of a team break with a draft for the teams.

How about a non sports break? Panini Americana, Goodwin champions, Plus a bonus box of something higher end like Horrors of War?

I could always do a player draft and include an extra case for a team draft on the side with a separate sign-up and draft.

That would at least get us 2 of the top 4 choices.

I'm always in for a bowman draft break!

2011 Topps Chrome also looks great, both would provide great value for the slot price!

Looks like Bowman DPP player draft and topps chrome player draft are the top choices. Not sure if this would work but, 5 cases of each?

My preferences:
If baseball: I vote tribute.
If football: suggest a dual case break of 2011 Finest and 2011 Platinum.

Let's do it! 2 picks per slot snake draft sound about right? Or just 1 pick each?

They are out of 2011 TC again, but I bet they will get them back in soon... 5 cases at $720 would be $3600. 5 cases of BDPP is $4500.

2010 BDPP - 263 spots
2011 TC - 263 spots: 220 base, 33 autos, 5 usa set (per case), 5 heritage lots (per case)

$8100/526 = $15.40 base slot price

$2.50 shipping + $1.00 supplies = $18.90

$18.90 + pp fees = $19.75 (call it an even $20.00)

$20.00 for first pick, $18.00 each additional pick. OR $38 each with 2 picks via snake draft?

Lets do the snake draft idea, ok? 263 spots, $38.00 each, 2 picks each. We could do $37.00 for second spot and $36.00 each additional after that.

hmm, very interesting, but for some reason when I hear $20 per slot I want to buy, like, 8 or 10, when I hear $38 per slot I want to get more like.... 2

But maybe that is just me and my stupid brain, either way I will be in for a few

Doesn't have to be 5 cases each. I just threw that out there because the poll states 5 or 10 cases for both topps chrome and BDPP. We could do like 2 or 3 cases each and reduce the slot price.

You can definitely put me down for a couple-two-tree spots for this.

You know, that is an incredible point. I am always interested in the psychology of it all. As a web marketer, it can be the difference between success and failure.

We have kind of created a niche out of the $20 - $25 break. Let's go ahead and run the single slot price. Whats 526 spots amongst friends?

The catch there is the auto spots. You have a great chance with 5 cases for more than one. With 3 cases, you just hope to hit at all. There are 32 autos and at 12 per case there are only 36 in 3 cases... there are 60 in 5 cases and you average almost 2 each (although it is possible to still get nada).

Personally I liked the snake option best. Can we vote on double slot or single slot?

Im in for 3 slots regardless.

Snake format is fine by me...

Single slots should give more people the opportunity to get on board.. Could vote it out like Mike says.
